To all those that have opposing/supporting views of my recent Akira review; You do you. I spoke from the heart and I stand confidently beside my words. If you believe I was misinformed about the situation, that's your opinion, and I genuinely thank you for your input, as now I know how to properly format a review. And I'm sure my next one will also irk some people, but I assure you, I meant no offense to anyone, and I personally believe I made the right choice in writing the (objectively) awful review. I was knowledgeable about what I spoke, but it just wasn't what people wanted to hear. I'm sorry for all those I bothered, and again, thank you all for your insight and kindness.
Despicable
dont let it happen again...
I don't care that you dislike Akira. However, I care about a few things.
Your review itself is not well written. There's very little actual criticism in it. A whole lot of saying x is bad and not why x is bad.
You personally attacked the people who enjoy the film, which is a terrible thing to do. "Fuck the culture of this film."
Dude, I'm sorry. I was trying to show I had a sense of humour. I am a teenager, I guarantee you. I'm just having a bit of fun
@Watashi to be fair, it looks like he changed the description after this post was made

yeah i never saw that status so nevermind about that i suppose
Like @Watashi touched upon, I'd recommend for you to make a case for your gripes and or praises next time. Compare and contrast with other works of its time or ilk to further your points.
Why was the animation good or bad?
What's with the directing? (oftentimes lumped into animation category)
Why is the writing good or bad?
Same goes for the score
And lastly, thematic synergy
By answering these questions you will not only further actual discussion and quench low-effort criticisms of your review; but also potentially further your own understanding of the medium and appreciation for the art, producing better reviews with each go.
