That they do. I joked to myself the whole time in doppelgänger episodes of Galaxy Express 999 that every female character was just doppelgänger of Maetel. In the remake movie, I laughed out loud that tetsuro here said Maetel looked like his mother. Boi. Every woman in the universe looks like your mother!

Whose idea was it to include "bully" characters that act like the MC's friends in this? They, and the parents of the main girl are obnoxious! All these characters do is pad out the show and scream, holy shit....

EP18:
Mofo just grabbed a metal doorknob in middle of a burning building! What a badass. If that actually did something.

2 more episodes and this suffering will be over.... it has been so dreadful, it has so much wrong with it that I haven't gotten enough spirit to even point anything of it out for 20 episodes.
