Well, that was a great first episode ! I didn't expect it to be that interesting and good looking for a spin-off based on a mobile game ! Shaft never disappoints ! :) What is your opinion about it ?

So far I'm not sure how I feel about it, I think they threw too much information into the first episode...

It's great, considering it's spinoff.

But i heard it'll get 24 or 26 episode, is it true?

  The Anilist page says it'll be 13x24 minutes episodes.

Absolutely fucking slapped. I went into it with very few expectations and was blown away; was not expecting it to be this interesting by any stretch of the imagination. I have no idea what's going on and I could not be more fuckin' thrilled.

  Have you watched the first anime ? This one is a spin-off so it spoils the first one quite a lot. If you haven't, you should definitely catch up with the first anime since it's one of the best anime of the decade imo.

This one of those shows where halfway through the first episode you start to wonder if you accidentally started with the second episode. What a mess.

The advertising boards and the room were pretty on the nose but apart from that, it was an ok start, setting up some good mistery that hopefully leads somewhere.

The first episode of the Magia Record was definitely a good one as it follows most of the mobile's storyline. I'm kind of annoyed by the fact many people haven't played the mobile game as I know the anime is already starting to skip some important facts.

nice, they saved the girl's pet cat from the train witch.

Iroha is really mysterious. Why her sister disappear?

They encounter the train witch again, then I'm surprised a very strong witch from Kamihama appear and easily kill the train witch. First time to see a witch kill another one of it's own kind. They are saved by a tiny Kyubey and a strong magical girl. Plenty of surprises just on the first episode. :)
