The animation wasn't as good as I expected, but I've been meaning to reread the manga, so this serves as a great alternative for me.

He seems way too confident in the anime, than he was in the beginning of the manga. BUT this whole turn in the manga it took imo went downhill bad. BUT i love Shuka so im in for every episode

  it was out of nowhere but i think what she meant by "let's create a family" is that she want to create a group starting him and her and others later to revolt against this game

I've enjoyed the very first episode. I love survival/death games premise so I am digging shows like this one. Overall, art-wise it's just okay for me, but on the other hand I really liked the music during first episode. I am also in love with Shuka, so yeah. The way the first game resolved was kind of "lmao", but hey, shit happens - unlucky. That and ending was pretty meh in my opinion, but overall first episode was pretty solid for me.

I will have to agree with previous posts that the ending was absolutely horrible and I'm quite tired of women being portrayed this way in anime. It gets old, repetitive, and plain boring, while being degrading on top of everything else. However, this is a talk for another thread.

As for the episode, I found it interesting. I had the manga on my planning list for a long time now and never got around to reading it. So I was pleased to see an adaptation was coming out. It was moreso of what I expected and I liked it for the most part. I just have to wait and see where it's headed.

I enjoyed it a lot, just what I have expected.
It's really funny that some people are already giving ratings just after seeing one episode. It's fucking dumb to do that. Boggles my mind.

  No, it's not dumb. Some people already know whether they're going to like it or not based on the execution of the first 48 minutes (especially if they've seen a lot of similar anime). If you don't, that's great. We're all different and with different standards after all, right?

I wasn't expecting to like this anime, because I'm into stuff thats flashier, but this is actually keeping my attention. I've not read the manga, but this has some future diary rip off energy about it.
