Man finally!!!! Been waiting for years!
It's hard to express. I've always said that I would love one final arc from Bleach. I have been saying it for years, literal YEARS. I feel like Bleach was so unique in style and characters, and the story was always engaging in it's own way. The world building was insane, and I love everything about zanpakutos, their special release commands were what I lived for. Swear, the release commands were my favorite part.
Everything about the world was so immersive and interesting. I just really love Bleach and I miss it dearly. So when I heard about this, after waiting for such a long time, I honestly can't even begin to express how ecstatic and grateful I am that we get to witness such greatness once more. I nearly teared up.
The thread "New Bleach and maybe New Ending?" and it's comments have been merged into this thread.

Like every Bleach fan, I'm hella hyped for this new season coming out. I honestly gave up on the idea of Bleach getting a sequel because of the reason why the series ended in the first place.
(If you didn't know about it, search it up and ask your yourself, "Are you truly a bleach fan?" I mean you should have already known).
Anyway, I think everyone who read the manga, knows the ending wasn't the greatest and it was rushed to an extent. So, I'm hoping that the anime either gives more context story to the arc to fix certain plotholes and events that were questionable.
Well overall, I'm just glad that Bleach is getting a sequel and see everyone in action again. I'll probably rewatch the series in the mean time.
why would he fix what isn't broken. it will have the same ending because that's how the manga ended, why would you want an anime original ending.
By Ending, I meant the arc overall. How the last fight ended was also kind of awkward. I just believe that more should have been added and worked on more, so it could have a better process of how events unfolded. I'm not saying it wasn't good, but it missed certain elements that Kubo could have had done better which a lot of people agree on. I don't want them to change anything major but add more context.
ah it was rushed for sure, maybe they can work out some of the details better. but the events should stay the same. the last fight could do with a bit more meat to it ye
I would actually agree. I think the ending should stay the same, but they should give more time for conclusion to develop. I think Kubo was rushed so he tried to reach his desired conclusion as quickly as he can, hence dropping the fights and relationship development. Hopefully we will get that sorted.
Fixing the end doesn't mean changing it... At all. As @AniBlade said, the problem with the end is that fell kind of rushed, so the anime can improve that.
It can end in the same place, but taking a different way.
Just to put an example:
I don't have any problem with Ichigo and Orihime. That's something we knew even from Society Soul arc. I actually like it because it's the most logically end for both.
But, the relationship between Ichigo and Orihime it's not even developed. You have to imagine what hapenned. So the anime can fix that giving Ichigo and Orihime more screen time together than the manga.
Ichigo defeating Spoiler with the help of Orihime in a 2 vs 1 battle for example.
Yh, I agree. They didn't really show their relationship progress at all, so it was kind of expected at the end, but also out of the blue.
In a certain scene, when Orihime was wearing an outfit with a cutout and Ichigo made a comment about it being too revealing. I was wondering if they were dating at that point, since Chad said he was being insensitive because he wasn't aware that she wore it for him I guess.
You got it wrong, Chad was not being insensitive. Kisuke Urahara recommended the outfit to Orihime and he said "I think Ichigo would love to see you in this" so Orihime then agreed to wear it. Then Chad was trying to "ship" them together ig so he asked Ichigo what he thought of Orihime's outfit. Ichigo and Orihime both got extremely embarrassed and Ichigo said it was revealing. Then Yoruichi started yelling because Ichigo was insensitive for saying that. Not Chad.
