Anime not adding a 'finished date' when updating it from the homepage

When updating anime from the homepage, once you've seen all the episodes the anime will change to 'Completed' yet not add a finish date. It'd save so much time for me if they were automatically added once you've finished a show instead of later having to add them manually.

I'm not sure if this is something that the devs aren't interested in adding or is broken, but I thought I'd make a post about it just in case.

thats odd, its always automatically added for me; the problem i run into is that its often listed as being finished the next day since it clearly goes off of a specific timezone rather than the user's.

  Setting something to "watching" automatically sets a start date.
  Setting something to "completed" automatically sets the end date.
  
  One of those respects your timezone, the other not.
  
  So if you first set something to "watching", and then quickly after to "completed", the two dates can be different.

  Wow, that's strange that only one does so. Is this just an overlooked piece of coding, or do you think it's intentional for some reason?

  It's clearly something that just worked well enough for the first draft of the UI, and then it was never updated.
  Same thing with what you describe in the OP. "Setting status sets end date". "Maxing episodes sets status". The missing piece is "Maxing episodes sets status which sets end date".
