Too many great scenes in this episode.
Nao's capture and hang, Yuu's rampage, and the highlight of the episode -- Kuma's sacrifice.
As expected, Charlotte indeed is the name of the comet; would be too late for a character introduction anyway, at least for one that would play a rather major role in the series.
Though I must admit, I was waiting for Nao to wake up and see Yuu go berserk from there. That didn't happen, but the chances somehow still remain.

It's impossible to say that no one will die. If Ayumi died in a different timeline but was saved in another different one, it's highly likely that someone else must fill that gap. BUT WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS ?! This is just so damn worse.. way worse than Ayumi's supposed death. Furthermore, now that Yu can no longer time-leap, they're all in danger.
I can't help but think that Yu must sacrifice himself here for the greater good, if by chance Yu would have the chance to time-leap once again.
I was so close to thinking that it was going to lead to the 'Sacrifice myself and save the girl I like (blatantly obvious now) and my brother's friend)' cliché. Glad that didn't happen since they would be trying too hard to make Yuu into a better guy. Also I agree with @bdubs, it hurts me to see Nao strip needlessly. Only Yuu should be able to see it in due time :P
Noooooo why Kumagami </3 T^T
At least he Nao was saved but Kumgami is a really big lost.
Im really curious to see what happens next episode.
How they're gonna explain Nao and maybe Ayumi what happened?? I really have no Idea how she will react.
Im also really curious about whats going to happen with the girl who scratched Yuu's eye.
Im still hoping for a happy ending since we have 2 episodes left, but to be honest it looks like Maeda is going to break our hearts again
By introducing new characters in the final 3 episodes and this quiet, light-distraction slashing girl looking like something that could turn more or less major, I wonder if there are any hopes for a second season.
There certainly are minor indicators here and there. The girl probably wasn't that good of an example but oh well.
Everything is ruined! No more time-leaped for Yuu and Kuma died. Well, I need to wait again, until next Sunday. Anyways, I was wondering who the hell is that girl, the one who slashed Yuu's eye.
This girl must have significance in the upcoming 2 episodes of Charlotte.
Now, let's talk about the time traveling which is not quite well-planned from the beginning. I'm still cringing so much why Yuu's brother planned to save Ayumi from being killed, it brings worse events than the original occurrence. I'd say they didn't think about the consequences of it. I mean, you are better than this? Anyhow, I assume he - brolic guy - is the one who stripped Nao, at least he didn't do detestable than that, right?!
P.S: I still have high hopes for a tragedy ending with enormous feels - Clannad.
So the theories about the time-leap doing more harm than good was right... the syndicate gained notoriety and they attracted this external group that targeted them looking for the strongest wielder... but why? there are so many questions right now and only two episodes remaining... I wonder what will happen now.
Yuu can no longer time-leap, unless there will be some bullshit deux ex machina that will grant him the power again. Pooh is dead so they will no longer know when another hability weilder will appear... and if they time-leap I'm pretty sure things will get out of hand quickly, no matter how may times you go back, no matter what you do... if there's suffering in your future then there's almost no way to avoid it.
incoming teenager with the power to repair damaged body parts so Yuu can time leap and save kumagami over the course of the next 2 episodes.
Please this.
Else make a new char go back in time and hmm... kill the english guy and that syndicate.
what im confused about is.... like... who the fuck were those guys, how did they know so much and seem to have a counter measure for all of Yuu's abilities, but seem to completely overlook probably his most dangerous one, collapse. I know that one dude was feeding information to them cuz of his family and stuff, but like... what even was the purpose? what did two unarmed dudes and an acrobatic bitch with a knife think they could do about a person capable have possessing nearly infinitesimal super hero-ass abilities. If you ask me, they got off easy. could have been a lot worse for them. not too smart a plan coming from a group of guys who seemed to have an extremely elaborate plan charted out.
They're a dangerous group with lots of resources. That's how they know so much. Plus, the fact that they got someone with an ability, which is the unknown girl, on their side means that they're experts at dealing with ability users. Also, based on this fact, they most likely have captured many ability users and are already using their abilities for their own agenda.
I think they underestimated Yuu, that's why their plan failed. They got too confident because they thought they had the upper hand since they were holding Nao and Kumagami hostage, and they knew that Yuu wouldn't do anything to hurt them. However, things didn't go according to plan because they didn't account for what would happen if Yuu loses control of his collapse ability due to emotional stress thus, resulting in their plan failing.
They did manage, however, to incapacitate Yuu's time-leap ability and, although unconfirmed, they probably also incapacitated his take-over/looting ability as well assuming that both eyes are required to use them.
As I recall, after they injected a sort of "chemical compound" on Kuma. When his conscious got back, he knew he said everything to these people, thus they get intel from Kuma. For instance, Yuu's abilities and their organization. I was hoping for deeper tragic incident rather seeing only Kuma died like Nao were raped by an unspecific yet unknown individual. But don't get mad at me, it's just a mere speculation about this scene on the recent episode.
Unclothing for what?! This is bullshit if this were real I'll cringe so much that I will never be going to watch affiliated to P.A Works and Aniplex or whatever it is. But, hey! It's just a freakin' stupid speculation of retard people on the internet.
P.S: If you didn't get what I was talking about; Nao got raped thingy.
I don't think Nao got raped, that right there is torture 101. Stripping someone from their clothes to make them feel totally vulnerable while captured, it works well specially with women, besides Pooh got his shit beated out of him so perhaps they were prepared to torture Nao as well.
I really don't think that Maeda went as far as letting one of the important characters getting raped, the reaction from the famdom would be really extreme considering this anime is really popular... then again, it's Jun Maeda of who I'm talking about... so anything painful can happen when he's around.
Is it just me or this shit wouldn't happen in the timeline where Ayumi dies?
This would have pretty much happened anyways, when the elder brother did the time-leap, the two guys (the glasses guy and his translator) revealed that they kept an eye on them since the foundation of the syndicate because apparently they were hunting for the strongest hability weilder of Japan.
It was a ticking bomb waiting to explode no matter which timeline was, and when Yuu appeared and everyone learned what his power was... then they pretty much knew who the strongest hability weilder was.
I think they didn't know who the strongest ability wielder was but they captured Kumagami to learn that information, right? (I should probably rewatch to check this but eh) But, in the timeline where Ayumi dies, this doesn't happen, or at least not when it happens now. So do the badguys use some sort of sign that sets this plan in motion or what?
Hm... well, in the original timeline (where Ayuu dies) Yuu joined the syndicate in order to save his sister, they waited all that time for someone as stronger as Yuu to appear in order to set their plan in motion, that's why they layed low untill now.
They tortured Pooh in order to confirm their information and to learn a good way to capture Yuu, this is why they went after Nao first because they're close and Pooh knew it, of course he didn't knew all the powers he got during the course of the anime and that is why the telekinesis was a surprise for them and they were also got caught off guard because they underestimated the strenght of Collapse.
That was a pretty good episode, going to be interesting where the last episodes go. It sucks Pooh and Nao got captured, Pooh really got it bad it hurt when I saw he didn't have any nails and then he ended up dying. Too bad no more time leap because from this point on whatever happens in this time line stays and can't be changed.
