Certain staff not showing up in the Manga stats?

I've noticed that some authors don't show up in my top manga staff even when I continuously read more works for them. Is it possible that there is a regional filter preventing them from showing up (sorry, this might be a dumb question). I ask this because the only thing distinguishing the author that isn't showing up on my list (https://anilist.co/staff/99576/Kyeongok-Kang) from the authors that are is that her work is all Korean manhwa. I haven't read enough Chinese manhua by a single author to test this out completely, so that's just my guess.
