Anime watching goals

I usually plan but end up watching stuff at my own pace anyway

A few that come to mind. These don't have exact complete dates though, just general goals.

1. Complete every classic Toe film (1958-1971).
2. Watch every Lupin anime.
3. Watch 225 anime from the, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s, and 100 from the pre 80s. With drops allowed.
4. Watch every pre 00s OVA.
5. Complete everything Yoshiyuki Tomino has storyboarded and/or directed.
6. Complete my filmography of non franchise films from 1958 to 2019.

Finish 400 anime at the end of the year.

To finish 600 anime before August
Rewatch all of Digimon during the Summer and the Fall

I usually plan out for a week... Manga and Anime both
i like to catch up on the manga releases of that week on weekends :P

I try and set a rough timeline, but the more structured my watching gets, the less interested I end up in actually watching anything. Which means I usually just watch when I feel like it and know I can just sit down and give it my full attention. Since I watch with subtitles, it's harder to watch/listen on one screen while doing something on the other.

I set general goals to watch some shows by the end of the year. This year, I set a goal of 5 shows and had a list of about 10 I wanted to watch. I think so far this year, including rewatches, I've watched about 40 shows. My plans have changed now though since I bombed through all the shows I wanted to and then some - My goal now is to watch shows I've heard good things about but never got around to. The show I'm currently on is Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, and my plans afterwards are to watch Zombie Land Saga, K-ON!, and Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui!, amongst a handful of others I'll link below. But those are my priorities before the end of the year (in no particular order). For some, these are probably rookie numbers, but I am but a humble, filthy casual.

As for manga (which I just started getting into this year), since a lot of what I'm reading is still publishing I can't exactly finish any. I'd like to finish Squid Girl and Your Lie in April, and I plan to catch up on Love is War as the volumes come out in English, as well as Suicide Boy (manhwa).

I guess on the whole, those are my plans.

• Finish to read My Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen before final season of both of them is released
• Finish seasonal anime I'm watching
• Finish Naruto Shippuden
• Finish Gintama
• Complete paused anime
• Watch anime movies that I lost (HAIKYU The Dumpster Battle, Violet Evergarden the Movie, SPY x FAMILY CODE White , One Piece Film Red , The Tunnel to Summer the Exit of Goodbyes , To Every You Ive Loved Before , To Me The One Who Loved You , Suzume)
• Watch some of Ghibli's movies that caught my attention
