it is just fight scenes and fight scenes, no real story as of yet and the characters have not been explored one bit

  they should’ve been explained in the first episode if not the 2nd. don’t know why they’re changing the order of things

  An exposition dump in a first episode is one of the worst things to do.

  not asking for an exposition dump, literally asking for an actual introduction. They completely skipped over character introductions and why they're joining the tournament, and went right into the tournament while leaving out major details. It seems to me like they're only focused on the fighting and not the actual story. My friend who started this is confused as hell about who everyone is and whats going on, and i dont want to spoil anything for him since he didn't read the manhwa. The story shouldn't be confusing

  To be honest I agree with you slightly but they did literally say or "show" some of the reasons they are doing the tournament.

  yeah but it was so brief. i just need more really. i'd probably have a better time with it if i waited until after it had finished airing

  Yeah I can agree, it was really brief. If you want my advise, read the manhwa. All of this happens before the events in episode 2 and plan out much better in the long run.

  i might have to tbh, i think the things i dont like about the anime are made up for in the manhwa

  Yeah, things like the story and characters are far better in the manhwa and are explained more. Personally I don't have a problem with the anime because I read the manhwa and it kind of translates over.

  I get your point, there is a lot of characters popping in all the time, a lot of talk about a lot of people, but little to no explanation as to who they are. But I assume there'll be some explanation later on in the show.
