  Earlier I would have said - DEFINITELY!! But I came to know that a small percentage of people think its dog shit, so idk which one you'll be in. But my bet is on the majority one, i.e. you'll enjoy it. And the s2 ending is the best anime ending of all time imo. I was already spoiled, but still it took me by surprise. And the girls are hot, like every one of them. Plot is awesome as well. And I don't have words to describe the OST.
  
  Btw the order isnt as complicated as you think. It's basically
  
  Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion
  Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion R2
  
  That's all. There are 3 recap movies though, these 3 movies are the recaps of the 2 seasons(I personally haven't watched them yet but will soon)
  Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion I Initiation
  Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion II Transgression
  Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion III Glorification
  
  These movies actually have somethings different from those 2 seasons though. For example, in the original ones a character dies, but they don't die in these movies. So they are still alive technically in the movie.
  
  Is it necessary to watch these movies?
  Not really.
  But
  Recently a new movie came out
  Code Geass Lelouch of the Resurrection
  
  This is the sequel for those 3 recap movies. And it's not a recap, its a completely new story. So if you wanted to watch this too you should watch the three recap movies imo. Alternatively, you could pass this one too.
  
  So I hope I answered your queries!
  P.S. - Don't think of watching the movies instead of those seasons, that wouldn't be a right decision!! It's like watching AOT movies instead of the seasons

But in the end, beyond the boundary was actually a great surprise that I enjoyed from beginning to end :)
