I would try Bravely Default and Animal Crossing New Leaf. Also Pokemon X/Y and ORAS. (I've only played BD but from what I hear, these other games are still pretty good)

And if you don't have Super Smash Brothers 4 yet, get that. The 3DS version is still pretty great
