Guess The Anime From The Music
Just thought this would be interesting......
The Game
People will post some links containing short music clips from some anime and you guys guess which anime the music comes from.
Rules
-
Only songs that are actually played in the anime are allowed, so no remix, cover, or anything of that nature. Instrumentals and non OP/ED songs such as character/image songs are allowed as long as it is in the anime.

When posting a new clip, reply to the thread, not the comment.

Reply to the original comment with the links to guess the anime.

Clues will be given after 1 day of no correct guesses.

The person who guessed correctly should upload the next clip. You can refuse, just reply that you don't want to.

If no new clip is uploaded after 1 day of being correctly answered, or the person who guessed right doesn't want to post the next clip either me or the previous person will post the next clip.
How To Make Clips
You can use any free audio editor programs available online. I use Audacity, but there's plenty to choose from. You can easily learn to use these programs by searching for tutorials on how to use them on the interwebs....I'm too lazy to write a proper tutorial.
Where To Upload?
I just use Vocaroo. You can upload it via other sites if you like.
This one might be a little bit hard to guess.

You are correct about the anime but the song isn't the ED for episode 8. It's actually an insert song that played in a scene in both episode 8 and episode 12.
For the people who are curious curious. The song is Requiem by Nao Hiiragi.

If it's actually played in the anime, yes. I'll add this to the rule. I was avoiding using OSTs since I thought it would be too hard to guess, but sure feel free to post some instrumental or non OP/ED songs.
hmm maybe you're right. The game will slow down for sure and it will be harder, although it would open some new options and by using the ''hint-system'' properly , I think it will be alright. But I´m not sure about it, maybe we will need some emergency rules. (like revealing a clip when the XY timer runs out) And I think it is okay when the reply only includes one of the 3 aspects : the anime title/artist/song title.
PS: What do you mean with ''no character songs'' , a character song is also an OST . For example : Kaiji theme .
I have something in mind but I think the hint rule is enough to handle unanswered guess for now.
I think the minimum requirement of the answer should include the anime title since the thread is about guessing which anime the song comes from.
What I meant by character song is this, which are usually not present in the anime. Some examples are this and this.
Theme that is associated with a character because they are played whenever a certain character shows up in a scene are acceptable and are not technically character songs imo. I think Kaiji's theme belongs to this category (though I'm not really sure since I've only seen a few episodes of Kaiji).

ah okay. Alhough your description of this rule is a little bit too clumsy ^^.
Jus saying OST/OP/ED are allowed, would explain everything I think. Since remix/cover are not a part of an ''original soundtrack'' (OST)
And the ''no character songs'' may be a bit too confusing , and those songs you mentioned are not in the OST as well, but in the solo series.
So just putting ''OST (original soundtrack)'' in the rule set, should explain everything .
Maybe we should start to make these more difficult?

I'd like to say Manten from Fate Zero 2nd season but it sounds a bit different.By the sound of it, it has to be composed by Yuki Kajiura.
