God, I'm so glad Jun Maeda's back. The way he writes stories hits me like no one else. And I'm glad he doesn't seem to be making the same mistake he did with Charlotte and trying to copy Angel Beats' playbook; this feels much more like its own thing. Very excited to see where it goes!

  Mostly referring to how Charlotte tries to do a lot of the same things Angel Beats did and capture the same tone- so many repeated tropes, plot beats, etc- which was a mistake because Angel Beats was lightning in a bottle and no one could ever repeat it perfectly, so trying just made Charlotte seem like an inferior spiritual successor. And I say this as someone who still really loves Charlotte; even Maeda on his worst day is good for me. TDIBAG looks like it's charting its own path, though, which I appreciate. Here's hoping it keeps it up!

My thoughts are on my profile but to sum it up, HOLY SHIT THIS IS A GOOD SHOW FINALLY something to look forward to this season other than the decent Noblesse. This has very very high potential.

  its always like this and i learned to accept that theses ratings mean literally nothing, anilist should only unlock allowing ratings after 3 episodes have aired and it would avoid a lot of trolls

The anime has potential, now we just need to wait and see how it's going to play out. I liked Angel Beats, so I'm hopeful with this one.

Anyone else find Hina loud and annoying? The premise sounds interesting but I can't stand her. I will still keep watching for the story.

Legendary kino of the ultimatum instantly just for the ultra cute nanojya loli. Hopefully they don't jump the shark and go full retard with the impending apocalypse plot, but Maeda Jun has a solid track record so it's not likely. Waiting extremely warmly for episode 2.

I thought Hina was pretty annoying at first but she grew on me the more the episode progressed. Definitely gonna watch more because this show has a lot of personality and the story is intriguing.

I really don't like the main characters, the girl is annoying and the boy has one of the archetypes that I hate the most in protagonists

Every year, there's an under-the-radar seasonal that BLOWS me away. The type of anime you watch just so you can say you watched it. For me, I came into Machikado Mazodu, Gleipnir, Magical Sempai, and Kakushigoto expecting next-to-nothing. "I'll just watch the first episode for the sake of watching something".

For some reason, I completely fell in love with this anime five minute into the episode. I think this might be it for me. I've never watched the creator's other animes, so I have no clue what to expect. But I'm already hooked.
