What Manga Do You Physically Own or Would Be Willing to Buy?
I was thinking about this the other day, since a LOT of people use free sites instead of buying subscriptions or physical copies nowadays. I was just curious about what physical manga other people own, or what they'd be willing to buy to own since it can be a pretty pricey hobby. I had a bigger collection when I was younger, but now I'm an adult with bills and limited space, so I only have 2 shorter series or so on my shelf lmao.
I also just started working at a bookstore, and I'm the only employee that's interested in manga, so I thought it might help for me to read manga series that people are more willing to spend money on so I can make better recs for customers coming in!
I would definitely buy OPM, claymore, Go-Toubun No Hanayome.

I own about 150 volumes of various manga and LN. Ideally I would have a physical copy of everything I read, but that isn't particularly realistic, so I buy volumes of my favorites.
Some of my volumes are in japanese (which I don't understand) because I wanted to support the author.

Im fairly new to manga so dont have alot. Currently only own volume 3 of Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches and im currently waiting for volume 4 and 5.
I usually only buy the series I “really liked” and I also only buy them in the original Japanese format since they either don’t have a English release or it not fully released or it looks terrible.
I would just recommend people to start with what you like and work up from there, better buying something you will enjoy to have them not.

I own the complete box set of Ouran High School Host Club! There's 18 volumes and I'm on the 10th one.
i have various volumes of different ones, but im mainly collecting dr stone (currently vol 1-11, hoping to get the rest of the currently released soon) and the bungo stray dogs light novels (vol 1-4, which is all that's currently released physically in english), but in the future id like to collect all the bungo stray dogs and shingeki no kyojin manga ^^
I only have one volume of Gundam: The Origin. I'm hoping to complete the collection someday. Other than that, I'd like to one day own my other favorites (Monster, Evangelion, Bakuman, and Orange)
I have volume one of Black Clover, would love to get a whole set someday.
I also struggle finding Gundam Thunderbolt online, so I would like to start collecting that in physical form sometime
The two complete series I have are A Silent Voice and The Ancient Magus bride.
I have stand alones like Opus, God's Wish and a lot of Junji Ito titles, Uzumaki, Gyo, Tomie, No Longer Human, Frankenstein and Dissolving Classroom.
Unfinished series are Beastars, Happy Sugar Life, Magi and Komi San
I mostly buy whatever manga is at my local bookstore. I really hope to have the complete series of Magi one day as it's my favourite manga. And one manga I might just have to buy online since it isn't in my bookstore is Vinland Saga. I'm up to date with it and it's so good! I need the physical to support the author.

I do have stuff, this is just before I put it there. I took this picture right after I assembled the shelves and put the manga on the shelves.
I got a really nice armchair, an (improvised) little table and a little carpet in front, and I'm planning to get a nice lamp and pouf as well, to make it a nice reading corner
light novels, cos i cant use a phone at school, and reading manga would make me look weird. the ultimate way to fuel my addiction to consuming japanese and increasing my numbers on this website.

Honestly if I had the money I'd buy all manga that officially translated into English that I could but due to being low on cash I mostly use manga websites. I do have a small manga collection though, with One Punch Man being the series I own the most amount of volume for with volumes 1 to 11.
I own several manga, but the only one that I consider a good value for my money is Miyazaki's Nausicaä
