Naruto vs Naruto Shippuden

shippuden simply cause all the really big stuff went down there

Even though i think the OG Naruto was much better, i still gotta give it to Shippuden, with some amazing moments and great fights.

A messy gem of a show thats gonna stick with me for a while, since i grew up watching it.

haven't seen shippuden yet! but the majoroty of people says that shippuden is better!
probably because the second half of the original naruto is fillers

I kinda prefer the original more because while shippuden has better fights and more content in general, I think that it strayed from the whole shinobi thing a bit. In the original Naruto, there was actual ninja shit like disguising yourself as a puddle. When I hear that there's a shinobi war, the first thing I think of is a forest full of jumping shadows. What I get instead is this undead hitting everyone with an ASTEROID, and to add onto that, there isn't a tree in sight. Not very ninja-like imo.

Naruto is Good, and personally I like it better because Shippuden has one problem
If you aren't character with a Sharingan or Rinnegan, or a Jinchuriki, you don't matter.

I like shippuden more because the fights are just simply better, and im already familiarized with the characters.

If you include all the fillers that Shippuden has then OG Naruto

I like the original slightly better, but Shippuden at least has more of the Akatsuki.

It's a shame they were nerfed in the Great Ninja War, though.

OG Naruto. Shippuden was a really disappointing post the Pain arc. OG Naruto was straight fire, except for those fillers. I personally like to consider Pain arc as the end of Naruto's story, because he was finally acknowledged by his fellow villagers and thus concluding his story arc.

Even though Naruto was slightly better, I still prefer Shippuden cause all the big moments (Madara) happened in that.

For me, OG Naruto. Shippuden ruined pretty much everything I liked about it, making Naruto into a literal god instead of an underdog that worked his way to the top being the most egregious example.

But the fights are still entertaining I guess.

It was pretty good but the last arc was a bit off for me. If you skip fillers then it's worth watching

Don’t know if this helps bc I only made it about 10 episodes into Shippuden before I dropped it. I was never the biggest Naruto fan though. My friend however is still watching it and is a pretty decent bit in. Shes enjoying it so far. From what she’s told me the fillers aren’t bad and the fight scenes get better if that helps.

It is good enjoyable until 4th shinobi war.
After that, I didn't like it at all. I was forcing myself, watching 2 episodes per week.

I would say it's definitely worth having on your planning, but it's no where near good enough to watch over Gintama and Monogatari. Shippuden has it's moments, but the pacing is awful, it has way too many fillers, and the war arc is atrocious.

OG is definitely better than Shippuden, but if you like the show there's not really any reason not to watch :p

Nope, the OG Naruto is better. Better pacing, better writing, better use of side characters, less filler, etc.

Shippuden starts strong but ends very poorly.
