Don't be too toxic tho.
You can start with me.
Dr. Stone rating you gave it a 8.5 of 10 is wrong. Why? Because it's not even all that good. At best, it would be no more than 6.8 of 10
I thought the MC was very likeable, the idea was fresh, the art and music were good, and it made me interested in the science. The plot is focused with no meaningless arcs, and so far everything that has been explained actually made sense. It also had decent humor imo, and the main and supporting characters have interesting dynamics, and fill their roles well, but are pretty generic. Sure it has some flaws, like the non memorable supporting characters, literally nobody else woke up except the MC, and the fact that the antagonist actually makes a good point, but I enjoyed it quite a bit, and am excited for the next season.
(This is a joke) @Vulpecula
You gave Kimi no Na wa a 100? Wow, I didn't know you liked a movie where some guy drinks a girl's spit to save her village.
In all seriousness, I'm too dumb to understand Kimi no Na wa, so I'm not able to truly enjoy it.
@moriarty100 overlord is not a 10 the plot and the characters are average
demon slayer is not a 10 even tho the animation and music is a 9 but the story is basic, the characters are one dimensional and it doesnt have good villians for a shonen anime
your ratings are almost perfect to me :) taste approved
(only thing I don't agree it is clannad first season a 9/10....for me is a 7 or bellow
reason: I think it gets boring in the middle and final arcs)
@asbualy Spirited Away a 10 while Princess Mononoke a 6?? I don't get it, there was almost nothing special about the first movie while the second one tells a much better story with more interesting characters.
lol, I get so much hate from my friends for this, and honestly, they are pretty similar story and character-wise to me but for some reason, Princess Mononoke was awfully boring to me. Also, Spirited Away impacted my life and my view on anime more than anything ever so there's that too. I don't care if you like Princess Mononoke more than me because I can see why
@luckyb U put rent a girlfriend rating higher than konosuba lmao .Must be a mistake
@MyTasteIsSuperior gintama season 4 isnt at a 11/10 so its wrong
@anonSatou you’re list is great......that is, if we put aside the fact that you gave kaguya-sama a 4/10,
@Irvin, first off, respecting for giving monster a 10 before watching an episode, good intuition on your part. However, idk how K-ON! is a 9.5. The plot is disturbingly basic and there’s little to no substance.
@Discordia
Why the hell is attack on titan a 2?!?!?
no disrespect but at the same time disrespect
This deserves to be a little higher. The fantasy aspect, relationships and
character growth merit it.
Of course, im just pulling at strings here. From what weve both watched
on your lists, i struggled to find ANY ratings i disagreed on
@ScionSilverbeat Another should be a little higher sure its not amazing but its still really good it managed to scare the shit out of me
Thats the thing. As a horror its really good.
However since im only basing off enjoyment, its
current rating i gave it means i enjoyed it less than
anything that has a higher score.
I dont enjoy horror AT ALL. I hate the
admostphere, its hard to explain in a way that
makes sense, but i just find it so .... negative.
Only reason i watched the anime was cause i got
roped into it ^^'
came here to get my list roasted, don't mind me
kekw
feel free to tell me which ratings are wrong tho
your ratings are way too high sometimes (date a live, himouto umaru-chan...) but I think it's a nice list overall
snafu, kaguya-sama, and nichijou at a 7.5? explain please.
snafu S1 is the best season, then it goes descrescendo ; these teenagers think as if they were adults, and they seem to suffer as if they had adult problems. I found that it was too much, peaking in season 3.
i already knew kaguya-sama because i was reading the manga before the anime adaptation. It's good but not "that" good. But I have to admit that season 2 is better than the first one. A little SoL/romcom anime that is very entertaining to watch, no more and no less.
nichijou: this one is very subjective because that's a comedy anime. I didn't find it that funny, some episodes were so boring to watch, but overall I enjoyed it. I can't rate it a 9.5 like you, when the best comedy animes like GTO, Gintama are around that score.
I'd like to add that 7.5 remains a very good score according to my criteria.
@Aguwu
kimetsu 6 at best
@Gadottinho
Kimi no Na wa
4?? I can't say it's the best anime I have ever seen, but it's definitely not a bad anime.
Also I saw different titles without vote, since you watched it, you should vote it even if is an OVA.
The ones I didnt vote mostly are movies/ova that are too complex to me to understand, like mindgame, kanashimi no belladonna, 1001 nights and others. And bc I reevaluated everything, the OVA's most of them I didnt really remember what was about, so I didnt give a score.
And kimi no na wa to me is really a 4, the animation mediocre, bad music, sound direction, character design, characters, direction, cinematography, story, plot, everything falling apart, and even the themes of the movie are bad and even offensive sometimes, tbh maybe the most deserved low score I gave.
@sauruchi
Mononokehime
a 10 i mean it was good but i don't think it was a 10
Well, I have to admit I have some vote I consider controversial, like my 4 on Steins:Gate 0 or my 7 on Evangelion, but I didn't think of my favorites, now that's a low blow :(
What's wrong with it?
To me it's a wonderful movie, I loved since the first time I saw it: good animation, good music, romance and middle age Japan with fantasy elements... I couldn't ask for more
@Viernes
Cowboy bebop, i guess.
Its a good anime but i wouldnt say its a 9.
Your list is perfect
This game is stupid since the rating system should represent your own individual ratings for series/manga and it is not within my power to judge your preferences. I (nor somebody else) can dictate for you what you should enjoy more, or less for that matter
Above is my honest reply.
However if you want an entry of your list roasted anyway (for the sake of the game), just say so and I will
Eh, its not like something will happen.Roast me, my friend.
Alright @KawaiiChiaki
You and I are both fans of Danganronpa. But the anime installments are shit...
The danganronpa franchise is build for games and not for anime, the series thrives on you getting close to the characters, spending time with them, getting to know them and them meeting their demise making you sad. In the games you spend hours getting close to them, plus guiding your characters in investigations and hours worth of intense trials. This makes you attached to the characters and you feel betrayed and legitimetely sad when they are killed, or turn out to be the murderers.
That being said: the set-up for the danganronpa animation future and past in which you have to watch interchangebly like this: 1-1-2-2-3-3 etc etc. You'll know what im talking about: where you watch 1 episode of both installments first then you watch the second episodes of both. It is hella confusing and could have easily been made in a single anime without having to switch anime's. This is annoying.
Plus what i said earlier about spending hours with characters and getting to know them then feeling said when they betray you or die. That just does not happen in the animation. All the danganronpa anime simply do not have the time necessary to flesh out their characters to such an extend as the games do. Making you feel emphatic when certain characters die or betray you. The characters simply don't have substance. Do you think any of anime only characters are interesting? There was this student council president, the cleaning lady and the boxer trio, they probably go the most screentime out of the anime only characters. But were they interesting? I didn't think so.
I think you like the danganronpa anime so much because you adore the cast you met in the games and they are now animated in anime format for you. Since you are a great fan (like me) seeing the classes 77-A and 77-B animated got you exited and you gave them high scores because it is your favourite franchise. There is nothing wrong with that (I already mentioned in my other post that everybody is entitled to their own rating system) but I think the games can rate as highly as you does. But the anime's aren't nearly as good.
Spoiler for the ending
This nobody animator dude saves them right? Do I remember correctly? Wtf was up with that, why this guy of all people. This weaking. It's pathetic, this guy I don't know anything about saves us and not the ultimate hope? The guy that has lead the franchise?
Long story short (TLDR version)
Whatever, I don't wanna write on my thesis so this turned out to be a pretty long rant-like endeavor ripping into your favourite franchise. Hey, you said "not like something will happen". Ofcourse I can be wrong in guessing your train of thought, but whatever. Remember that I think everybody is entiteled to their own opinion and you keep doing you KawaiiChiaki, if you want to rate the animation highly it is your choice to do so.
Have a good day.
I cant argue againts that and you are 100 percent right.Seeing my favorite cast in a anime made me go blind and make me gave the anime a high score.I kinda regret that.Since when i look back, its really not that great.I was thinking about changing the scores but that kinda feels like im just doing it because of other people's opinion.That feels wrong so i didnt do it and left it like that.
And about the animator guy,
Technically, Hajime saved the world.He stopped Ryota(The animator guy) from telecasting the brainwashing video to the whole world.Ryota was just to make things more intense.And to explain why Junko was able to brainwash the whole world.
But i'll keep the scores high.To me, im giving the high score to the games.Not the anime.
I wish you a great day, too.
@sniepster you gave Bakemonogatari a 62 you absolute heathen
Ofcourse I gave it an 62. It's trash honestly.
The series itself is good, but there is a lot of witty dialogue written on the screen. I want to read it all!
But the creator went and put it up for like.... 0.3 seconds.
What the fuck is this shit? People praise this animation? I want to read what is on the screen, because the text is interesting. But I don't want to have to pause and rewind my episode 100 times.
The thing is, the text isn't necessary to the story at all and is practically just a preview to the episode. It's all text drawn out from the light novels that's just shit that's going to happen a few minutes later anyway.
I know.
Did you guys conveniently skip over the I want part in my comment? Perhaps it is unnecessary, but I want to read it. But they make it impossible.
This made me NOT skip reading the text. But rather drop the series.
I'm the kind of guy that can appreciate good craftsmanship, but this one is too epileptic for my taste and doesn't fit my watching style.
Luckily it is my rating system and I am free to give it an already generous 62.
:)
