What did you think of the first episode? Honestly it gave me a lot of hype and I think this second part will be a blast.

A little bit fast tbh, but it really makes me hype so much especially those two songs that I didn't expect them to be played again in this season.

  Love how the episode went the whole run, skipping the opening and ending, and it still felt so damn fast. This anime has got me hook, line, and sinker.

  In the first part of the second season there was a little bit of slow narration and we didn't see a lot of things, so in this second part I think a lot will happen, and already from this first episode you can understand.

  I recommend you check out AniNews on Youtube, he does breakdowns on each episode as well as cut content from the manga. He explains everything really well.

  I saw someone say that this part of season 2 is supposed to be really hype so maybe they'll use the OP more to hype up the viewers. I'm really hoping we get to see it at least next episode.

Great first episode, have high hopes for this season. The stuff with Emilia was pretty sad (spoiler below)
Was sad to see when Emilia tried to speak about her mother she almost had a panic attack and when Puck broke their contract. Its sad but it had to be done

First episode and we already got like a shit ton of info on what's about to come in the upcoming episodes..

and they FINALLY shed some light on Otto, his words in the first minutes of the anime were honestly the entire reason that subaru is on his feet rn.

and the song used when subaru went to confront Roswaal was just MMmMMMMMMMM.

Seems like Puck just revealed he was Emilia's mother ? Which seems perfectly logical with everything we saw until now.

  This doesn't make any sense to me. In end of episode 1 she is all shocked and can't sleep, because of the trial.
  Okay, this somewhat makes sense, considering what he had to go through. And with her history, there may be some traumatic experience.(Episode 1 18:00)
  So far I can go with it. So, she is awake and first tells him that she couldn't remember the family. Okay, why are you awake all night, if it's just you were frozen? That's not too much of a shocker. Then, suddenly she can remember. Her whole family is frozen in ice and she does the whole royal selection in order to free the family. Yeahh, you would assume you can remember something like that, couldn't you? Especially since that was already the time Puk was there. This whole second season part 2 makes no sense to me at all. I am at a point I just drop the show, due to it. This makes me somewhat angry.
  Not to mention an instance later Puk appears suddenly and says: Well, bye, I leave you alone now.
  Before in another instance where she died he went all berserker and killed the guy, but now he doesn't care enough to stick around.
