How does anilist calculate anime scores with different scoring systems?

When there are rating systems such as 5 stars or smiley faces, I'm just wondering how anilist factors these in when calculating for average and mean score.

In the end everything is scaled to 100 point system.

For 5 star
score * 20 - 10

for smiley
:) = 85
:| = 60
:( = 35
