there are a few animes ive seen that i really enjoyed and noticed not alot of people knew about them at all:
Absolutely agree with @sniepster, it's a hidden gem that deserves to be binge-watched by all otaku out there
i don't think it deserves a 10/10 but literally no one i know has watched it and it makes me so sad because i loved it so muchhhh :(
I completely agree! There are so few anime like this that it's frustrating. The ending was a little rushed, but it's really fantastic, especially if you lie within the demographic or want a bit of education around the subject. I'm not transgender myself, but I found this anime to handle LGBT issues perfectly. 100% would recommend.
ahhh this i have it on my ptw
how much did you enjoy it?
One of the best SoL anime I have ever watched. Though I rated the first season (Animation) 8, and the second season (Natural) 8.5, the third season (Origination) is just breathtaking. I initially rated it 8.5 from Ep 1-8, then started appreciating the series at Ep 9 and upped the score to 9, then 9.5 on Ep 12, and finally settling a perfect score after finishing it. IMO, it has one of the best endings I have ever seen. Note that it might not be appreciated by the many since the series is definitely slow.
Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata
I don't know if it's well known or not, but i loved this anime so much, the characters have a very good design, interesting personalities, the plot was good and then there's my Goddess Utaha
Mahoutsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto Natsu no Sora
This one is beautiful!
Dennou Coil
Not a 10/10 but I liked it and never seen anyone talk about it
Most of these are quite well-known, but I haven't given a lot of shows 10/10 or 9/10 scores.
Ashita no Joe
Kino no Tabi The Beautiful World
Hibike Euphonium Todoketai Melody
Heartcatch Precure Movie Hana no Miyako de Fashion Show Desu ka
Hyouka
Hyouka is slightly more known, especially if you're a KyoAni fan.
Touch
Fantastic anime
Touch is one of the best selling manga of all time. But yes, it's pretty much unknown in the west unfortunately. We need a blu-ray release for the English speaking world.
Oh i had no idea how well the manga did tbh
I only know because of Wikipedia. Apparently the show was monumentally popular when it was airing as well.
well i mean it did come out 35 years ago, a ton of anime fans nowadays wouldn't really know pretty old anime especially if its not big like dragon ball, ashita no joe, hokuto no ken, etc etc
Yeah, you've gotta go out of your way to find out about a lot of older anime unless you just know people who are into them by some chance.
The Tale of The Princess Kaguya
SKET Dance is just the best anime to me and no one ever talks about it ):
The Tale of Princess Kaguya is probably one of the lesser known Ghibli movies, but it's still pretty popular. Anyway, I get why you included it...
However, Hinamatsuri has a popularity of over 60k... how is it not well known?
Kaguya-hime is the Ghibli film that no one talked about and I never get why this happens and I feel this happens also for Hinamatsuri, just no one talks about that show nowadays
I mostly agree about Kaguya. I wouldn't consider it unpopular on it's own, but compared to other Ghibli movies it is.
As for hinamatsuri, I suppose people stop talking about a show for a while after it finishes airing, but that's only natural since it's no longer in the spotlight.
You could say the same thing about any number of popular shows from previous seasons. People stop talking about them as soon as the next season begins. Just my thoughts on the matter. I would still like to see a second season of Hinmatsuri.
Yeah I totally agree with you, I just need a 2nd season of Hinamatsuri so much xd. Btw i agree with the fact that when a show comes to an and no one talks about it anymore and that's how the industry works, but I think there are some other animes (Like kaguya sama love is war) that are always being talked about and they're really what I think "popular" means
Never though I'd be obsessed with a dancing anime. The animation is beautiful too.
Welcome to the Ballroom
Welcome to the NHK
As a psychological anime fan Welcome to the NHK is definitly one of the best anime I've watch in my life
Hyouge Mono
I'm convinced this is one of the greatest anime ever made.
These two aren't anything to rave about critically, but they had me laughing so hard:
Keppeki Danshi Aoyamakun
Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha Shijou Saikyou no Maou no Shiso Tensei shite Shisontachi no Gakkou e Kayou
This ones pretty good but its quite under the rader
WorldEnd What are you doing at the end of the world Are you busy Will you save us
Not sure about them but I also rated the following ones 10/10 and think they're pretty much not famous.
Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear
Tada Never Falls In Love
APPARERANMAN
pretty great anime amma prbbly rewatch it soon
