Goku, as all other Saiyans, is very strong but limited in power. The only way for Goku to literally destroy a planet is with a spirit bomb because all his other attacks rely on his own power. Without the power of others Goku can never achieve the power necessary to destroy a planet.

Vegeta was able to blow up a planet by himself before he made his way to earth. and obviously both goku and vegeta are leagues and leagues above that now. They could break a planet with a punch if they wanted to, a spirit bomb is not the only way. In fact im pretty sure a spirit bomb cant blow up a planet just cause of the way it works

I kinda disagree with you. As previously mentioned, it does not have to be a physical fight to beat Goku so I'm not disagreeing with you cause you're saying that Sanji can beat Goku. I just think Sanji wouldn't poison the food cause of his morals and pride as a chef. The WCI arc shows that.
Having said that, Sanji could defeat Goku through food by giving him a heart attack but considering his sayian physiology, I don't think it's likely. But ya, that is an interesting scenario and could happen if we ignore Sanji's moral code.

If Death Note and DB existed in the same world it's arguable that the death note would work on Saiyans as well because they are practically human. I would argue that the death note would not apply to Angels such as the Grand Priest/Whis.

Yes, they are technically aliens, but provided that they are sentient, humanoid, and have names all of the other rules apply to them. Since aliens like that don't exist in Death Note, it is reasonable to assume that in a world with them the death note would expand the parameters to apply to them. Light would probably just need to write down both (if not one or the other) of Goku's name.
