ill start first promised neverland s2
it was alright but i do agree with most people's opinions on it
Beastars and akame ga kill I understand peoples opinions of Akame ga Kill tho.
People who give Beastars a try, usually don't hate it so I don't think that counts.
Opinions of those who don't even give a show a try should just be ignored.
@honeyhands also
yea beastars is fantastic, a lot of criticism kinda just comes from anti furries who haven't even touched the show so
LOL thats just what i about expected. i kinda wanna know the actual controversial (if thers any) opinions from people who watched it tho
theres only a small bit of controversy in like ep 2/3 or something involving the rabbit girl and some almost sexual stuff but i mean meh, nothing happened at all and it just adds on to what her life story is life so w.e
but i'd barely call it controversy, not many people cared about it, at least not what i had seen myself
not big of a spoiler at all but im spoilering it anyways
Thats true. I havent watched Beastars but my
reason has nothing to with them being animals.
Its more like in worlds like that the characters are
kinda humanised so its just ... different? I dont
know but i dont really care about the whole furry
thing. Not like it bothered me in Zootopia.
The only reason im personally avoiding it is
because i cant stand 3D animation ^^'
the studio that made beastars (studio orange) is one of the best examples of 3d anime done right. i mean they also did land of the lustrous that was a masterpiece, and they used 3d animation in unique ways rather than just trying to copy 2d animation. i say give beastars a try! i usually dont like 3d either but i love what that studio has come out with.
This is such an easy question for me to answer bc I have shit taste. Fairytail was my favorite anime for yeears and I've still been keeping up with 100 Years Quest despite how down-right not good it is. I also watched Corpse Party a few months ago and I'm ashamed to admit how much I liked watching it. It was so bad it was entertaining.
edit: Hi, I just wanted to add Future Diary- all I heard about it before watching was that it was shitty but all in all I thought it was interesting minus the sexual assault scenes
A lot of people bashed the animation and pacing, but I still thought it was a wholly enjoyable experience. It has a brilliant universe, a well-thought-out power system and a fun story, not to mention a lot of brilliant voice work (particularly from Nobuhiko Okamoto).
God I really wanted to like this anime and its universe. It's cool, but for some reason it gets boring after watching 2-3 episodes. Talking about the whole universe, be it railgun, accelerator (Haven't actually watched accelerator, but I do get the same vibes by seeing clips from it) or index.
If that's the way you feel about it, then I don't think I'll be able to try and convince you otherwise, since I doubt I can come up with a way to make you more interested in it.
What I will say is that, for Index the story does move differently than some people might like since the pacing is definitely off compared to the light novels. I ignored that on my first run, since I wasn't a very experienced weeb at the time, but having watched more anime and read most of the source material, I'm sure I'll see it the way it actually is this time around.
Railgun is a wholly different type of series in my opinion, it's style is definitely a lot more slice-of-life for the first few episodes of every season, but after a few episodes, it gets into the meat of the story and does a great job of showing it off. Particularly in the Sister's Arc in Railgun S.
Accelerator is a lot easier to get through, since it's only 12 episodes and it's got an entirely different story focus than Railgun and Index (which often cross over with each other), but you have to have watched the first part of Index beforehand to understand the setup of the series.
I see that it's been a while since you've watched any Raildex stuff, I wouldn't want to pressure you into watching it since that takes away some of the fun, but I do hope that you enjoy it if you continue. Railgun, and particularly Railgun S and T, are a lot better than Index in terms of animation and pacing.
I am watching the first season of Railgun right now. I like the story itself, the universe. I watched first 2 seasons of Index. I did like them, but yeah, they are really hard to get through. I can't watch more than 2 episode's in a day. Can't say the same thing for any other anime, really. Guess it all depends on taste
Yeah, if you don't enjoy it, you shouldn't force yourself through it. Index III has an awesome story, but it's executed very poorly since they tried to fit 9 or 10 volumes of the light novel into one season. If you didn't enjoy the first two, there's not a high chance that the last one will be much better for you.
