Yea, it's literally what I said in the title
Isn't Made In Abyss just loli/shota torture fan service to begin with? I mean, the movie had a camera zoom in on the robot kid pissing into a tube from shear agony while being tortured didn't it?
if you consider mia "fan service" you are not right in the head. yeah it has some weird and gross stuff but its not meant to be fan service
oh I think the author of Made in Abyss is a pedophile, I meant that previous post to the many people that enjoyed the many scenes of child torture that the show and movie has because it's good "''plot''' to them
on what basis besides how you bother to interpret the work do you make this claim, i mean sure there is n argument to be made on MIA showing too much when it comes to the child characters, but i never saw it as sexualization, rather it was just unnecessary realism. sure people may try to make it into a sexual thing but that isnt the fault of the work itself, rather the audience. compare the MIA author to someone like the dragon maid author, who has actually drawn porn with underaged characters, and i think its not really fair to just say "oh hes a pedophile" when theres no evidence, and the rumors have been completely baseless, the reason the manga goes on hiatus for periods is because he has a direct involvement with the development of the anime, not him being investigated for pedophilia. Also forgive me, but i did go check the scores/reviews you gave the series to get a better understanding of what your thoughts were and noticed you would be much more fine with the content displayed if the characters were 14-17, which makes little sense because thats still underage and illegal. basically i think you're slandering this series for the wrong reasons and your critiques are bias
I don't really care what you think to be honest, I think the author is a pedophile and at the very least, enjoys seeing children in agony and there's nothing you can say to convince me otherwise. I already hashed it out in this thread https://anilist.co/forum/thread/17909/1 ages ago and I don't really want to deal with Made In Abyss defenders again.
surprised youd link that because you got absolutely obliterated in it. none of us are saying "yeah naked kids are a good thing" but we can understand that not everyone picks up literature with the intent to use it as pornography, and it is pretty clear in MIA the author opted for a hyper realistic approach which often isnt pleasant to look at. Polemarchos kinda nailed the whole reason of why your hate boner is unjustified. but yeah since you dont wanna argue ill just let you be you
i got those vibes too.. i dont understand the endless peeing scenes either or why reg had to become erect during sexual moments... for a kid its much more common to become erect after sleeping or just when needing to pee.
no no, you don't understand, it's an important plot device because it conveys realism
what kinda realism depicts a 12 year old girl with incontinens?
also realizing reg is supposed to be 12 and not 5 or 7 i understand his boner more.
Dude took 2-3 scenes & said the whole anime is just fanservice lol (though I don't even consider that as fanservice). How much sense does this make? If the author really wanted to make it solely for that purpose, he would've inserted more such scenes instead of focusing on the plot or worldbuilding.

Just agree that you can't argue logically lol
You got some great anime in your favs tho

I wouldn't have replied if your comment made sense. I was talking about the anime & his review was for the manga which hardly 40% have liked/agreed with lol. And he pointed out the same thing anyway while scoring the plot & characters a 10 & 9. So the only reason he gave it a 5 overall was due to the single reason, making a big deal out of it as if 99% of the anime/manga had only those scenes.
lolicon threads are back!?
No.
Well i mean they never left but this thread is a year old. Some idiot just felt they needed to drag the conversation back to the top of the pile because he disagreed with the other idiot, who then wasted no time responding.
For the third time at least saying this. Forum needs a prompt when replying to a thread older than a year asking the user if they REALLY have something new to provide the conversation. Perhaps with an implied penalty for pointlessly necroing threads.
wish i could sage
