Monogatari Series Broadcast & Chronological Anime Order / Watch Guide

Wow this is the most complete watching guide I have ever seen of the Monogatari Series. I'm sure it will be really useful for those new to the series.

In my opinion, it is fine to watch Kizumonogatari movies after Bakemonogatari and then continue with broadcast order.

I think people should follow the light novel order and watch the Kizu movies after Bakemonogatari IMO.
A lot of scenes later in the series have more emotional impact if you have knowledge of those movies.

I'm doing true broadcast order, and I think putting Kizu after Owari's Shinobu Mail arc makes perfect sense.

I did actually drop the series because I got so confused about the order that I was supposed to watch everything, chronological, broadcast or whatever.

Now I'll save this and will be giving the series another try. Thanks again!

Question: When are you supposed to watch episodes 6 and 16 of monogatari series second season?

First-Time Watchers: I highly recommend watching Broadcast Order first. Specifically, the Modified SHAFT Order down below. Chronological order is best experienced during rewatches.

So i'm just going to follow that suggestion.

Going to finish Haikyuu first though.

As others recommended, I'd go with the light novel order. Watching in the airing order would just be self-inflicted confusion.

I watched it following the LN release Order:
Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari, Nekomonogatari (black), Kizumonogatari, Second Season, Tsukimonogatari, Koyomimonogatari, Owamonogatari (1 and 2) and Zoku Owarimonogatari
Edit: Yeah Kizu is after Bake not Neko

In case an elaborate explanation is wanted, I would advise you to read this—it includes visual graphics at the bottom

You shouldn't really have anyone tell you 'how' to watch the Monogatari series. Piecing it together by yourself is a lot more fun than following a guide. The latter almost sounds comically off-putting.
