I'm sad the japanese live broadcast got interrupted because of an earthquake, i'm hoping that Japan doesn't take any big damage.

As for the episode, i loved it. Tension was really high up and i love it, such a great episode. The iconic trio are split up after the 4 year time gap. Pretty sad to see them starting to split up, especially with how Eren is acting.

Levi vs Zeke was pretty great and i'm glad they kept the frame from the trailer, that looked way too good to pass up. Loved the use of Beast Titan theme aswell, it was very fitting!

Floch goat aswell, but thats normal. Dude is turning into an amazing character right infront of our eyes, i love it!

Next week, we get Zeke backstory, i absolutely cannot WAIT, i need my damn tissues.

But this episode was amazing goodness me. Respect to Mappa for the fight with beyblade and monke. I loved the action a lot.

Also based Eren roasting Mikasa and Eren was fun to watch. Based Floch doing cope too. Yeagerists going strong right now.

I would now like to hear the opinion of anime-onlys on Eren's character.

The Levi vs Beast fight was amazing, the OST helped a lot. MAPPA did deliver this episode.

Truly one of the best AoT episodes, ESPECIALLY with the new studio. MAPPA did an amazing job, the detailed, closed up frames were well done and tragically beautiful to look at. The voice acting, the speeches as well as the facial expressions were on point.
Levi vs Beast Titan was truly intense, it honestly doesn't matter if CGI was used for very little. Music was on point as always, nothing different to expect from a show like AoT.

  Ik people are gonna come after my neck,but I think he is acting like a dick.
  I think Armin is the only one out of thoses 3 that is somewhat normal and thinks instead of acting on impulse,except in today's ep.

I think some of the ep is missing because of the earthquake but I am very pleased with what we got. the animation was beautiful and the voice acting was on point. good job MAPPA that was awesome!
(and Levi was looking as handsome as ever)

What a coincidence that an earthquake happens on the day an AOT episode airs. Would just like to say that the whole Jaeger family is a bunch of jerks, except for Carla because what an angel, literally. If Eren does not die at the end of this series I will be furious because he 100% deserves it, he has no excuses. Isayama better pull up with the perfect author trick and kill off his MCs in a devastatingly painful way or he's not getting my tears for his bathhouse.

6/10 one of the best episodes in the season so far. Armin finally got his dumb ass whopped (that was the main highlight) and I got to see a pretty good Levi vs monke round 3. unfortunate that the earthquake had the episode cut short tho.

On one hand, I loved this episode. One of the best in a while if you ask me. However, I really do think that had Wit Studio been in charge instead of Mappa, or had Mappa given Attack on Titan their all, that Levi vs Beast Titan round 2 would have been much more impactful, maybe rivalling round1. It's just that the animation could've been much better. Instead, it's very rough around the edges, to the point where everything was blurred slightly all the time to hide the corners that had to be cut. I get that they're doing JJK at the same time, but if so, then they shouldn't have been handed the reigns for AOT in the first place, because what we got falls extremely short from what the source material allows for.

  its not like MAPPPA snagged aot from Wit, Wit just dropped it and MAPPA decided to take it upon themselves to finish it. this all on top of rushing these 16 eps in like an year or so, which is not very much time at all. long story short, to everyone complaining, if MAPPA didnt do this, you would still be waiting like you did for s2, or worse, never gotten this part at all

  I personally would take good aot later as opposed to bad aot now (not to say it's bad, but cmon look at some of these cg titans). I don't think MAPPA shouldn't be in charge at all, but if they were given a little more time to polish, I think it'd be worth it.

I think the fight got ruined by that hip hop music. I felt like watching an AMV, it was completley different from anything from AoT before, it really doesn't fit at all here.

  i don't get why they decided this particular fight needed it, since i don't recall any other having a soundtrack like this
