should i skip naruto and watch naruto shippuden??

contemplating whether i should skip it or not because some people say you dont rly need to watch naruto to understand shippuden,, and i dont really have all the time in the world to finish naruto nd then move on to shippuden. so what do you think? (also im alr in ep 20 of naruto btw)

definitely not. shippuden really won't have much impact if you skip the original. trust me though, it'll be worth it once you see the incredible final battle in shippuden. if you skip the original all of the emotional weight would be lost.

Watch the chunin exam, leaf village attack and Sasuke rescue arc. This cuts out a lot of things you don't need to know and you can participate in most conversations about Naruto with this knowledge. Also sets up some parts in shippuden

  yes but if he has less time then skipping it is not a big deal. not everyone has enough time to watch filler and if they don't want to it is not a big deal they can always watch it later when they freer or bored.

Bruh, the fuck? Part I of Naruto was the best in my opinion. Definitely no. If anything, if you feel like you have to skip something, I recommend skipping Shippuden more than the original Naruto. This is coming from a former Naruto fanboy by the way.

No,,,,,,,,,,besides the og naruto is rlly good and even better than shippuden. Skip the fillers tho. Shippuden just becomes DBZ every second its LEVEL UP LEVEL UP GREATER POWER. Og Naruto is some cool ninja stuff.

  you can skip fillers, but watch all the episodes based on manga, they're important to the whole story and imho it's really nice to see the development of every character

Naruto and shippuden are basically one lol. In the manga, there's not even a Shippuden. The anime just added that extra name.

  I'm on episode 50-ish and I've only enjoyed some of the fights in chunin exams and that's it.

i didn't like og naruto either, but bear with it until episode 135, then skip the remaining episodes (they're all filler) and just watch episode 220.

I honestly thought OG was better than shippuden, so if you're not liking it, I'd suggest dropping the show.

  ikkk. It sounds like i'm one of them people who like skipping jojo parts. but honestly it's a genuine question. some friends told me to skip and just watch recaps as the og naruto can get boring.

The whole Naruto universe peaked during the Chunin exams, it gets as bad as DBZ later. Although there are some good moments later, but your time would be better spent searching Itachi on youtube, then searching Kakashi on youtube, watching the fights while finding another anime to watch.

I mean you would definitely miss out on things, and shippuden is full of fillers and other stuff that I bet are less enjoyable than the OG anyway. If you're not enjoying it you're better of dropping
