Just type literal anything
I play open world, rpg, choice based games, and anything Ed Boon makes except for Mortal Kombat 11.
Fav games are- Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm, Injustice 2, After Party, the entire Tomb Raider series, Uncharted 4 and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, GTA 5, Call of Duty (campaign only), Gears 4 and 5, Telltale's The Walking Dead Series, and Jedi Fallen Order.
I just bought the remastered version of the first "The Last of Us" so I don't know if I'll like it. And yes, I love playing video games.
Open world, I like to go and explore a gigantic map by myself and discover little secrets. Seeing buildings and landscapes to get inspiration. Like Genshin impact, I don't like it because of the characters (But a little bit) but also it design of buildings and landscapes.
(J)RPG. I really like to play RPG. The Persona and smt series or NieR: automata are a good example
Visual novels. After trying out Danganronpa I discovered I like visual novels games.
Shooters. I really like to play shooters. I like to play it with a controller
Games that have choices that can affect the story
Strategy - SupCom Forged Alliance for how strategic zoom enables a good balance between base-building and action, AoE2 and Civ (3 Complete) for historical trivia
Turn-based tactics (grid-style battlefields) - AdvanceWars, Duelyst (RIP)
Shooters (with durable characters): Halo, Hawken (RIP)...
Hybrids like Valkyria Chronicles...
Puzzle stuff like Portal...
I got a thing for Blizzard games. They just have high production value, with smooth animation and quality audio tracks. Spent 5 years playing WoW (from release to just before Cata), and preferred HotS over LoL
Besides games that reward a bit of thinking, I enjoy ones with a good story following interesting characters. My latest favorite was Trails in the Sky, since the story and characters were funny, esp the main girl. Claptrap made my first playthrough of Borderlands enjoyable. I loved my first VN experience, Fault: Milestone One. I gobbled up the 2nd like a rabid fan and can't wait for the continuation.
Can prob tell I did my gaming in the early 2000s and grew out of it, sometimes coming back briefly for a bit of nostalgia.
If they have an amazing story, tons of features regardless of graphics or amazing effects... then yay...they made me waste days on 'em
Used to play a lot of WoW with friends

^besides those, there is (in terms of the most days spent) the Age of Mythology / Empires, EU4, Warcraft 3, LOTR Battle for Middle Earth, Modern Warfare and small ones I don't remember them now
Honestly, I will play anything, but I prefer rpgs over multiplayer games. My favorite games are Witcher 3, Ocarina of Time, Nier: Automata, the Halo series, Doom Eternal, Fallout: New Vegas, and the GTA series. I have recently started to get into the Yakuza series and I really like Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
