I used to feel so hyped for MHA, Season 3 was the first seasonal anime I watched weekly. After that, I read the manga and when Season 4 came out, I was still pretty hyped even though I knew what was gonna happen. This season is gonna be adapting some great stuff, but I just don't feel very excited for some reason. Anyone else feel this way? Any idea why?
i was so hyped when i first watched mha and now i dont remember shit idek if ill watch it
Idk why but this is the only anime that gets me confused as of its arcs, like, I can't tell you the chronology of the arcs whereas I enjoyed the show pretty much (bought the mangas too) I really don't know why. But I'm pretty excited to see the manga getting adapted, as what is coming is really good
I mean the main reason to watch the show or read the manga is for the hype scenes, like the combat and stuff. That's the whole real drive for the series. It's a bunch of cheap and lazy setup just for most of it to be disposed, but at least it built up to a short cool moment that people will remember, and forget the rest of the plot except those key cool moments. that's the series, that's the format it follows, and that's how it will continue until it's mediocre death.
I think that really depends on your investment and perspective of the series' plot and its characters. The less invested you are, the less those big moments and twists are going to impact you, thus making the setup feel weak and only used for cheap thrills. That can be applied to to all Shounen and even other genres as well. When an action scene or death of a certain character occurs and you lost investment in the series, that scene will feel cheap to them. It's all just a matter of perspective.
Never read manga. Super SUPER hype for it of course. But then today came and I didn't feel like watching. But when I watch it, I was like "aw damn, this is nice". It's odd. Like I almost did my homework... But got distracted by walking around.... I feel like there was less advertisement and hypers for this season in particular
