Takes Time to Get to the Good Stuff

This does get better, I promise, but it's hard to recommend it until well into the season. Season 2 is great, but it takes half of season 1 to really pick up at all. If you think you can tough it out for a while and it looks interesting to you then it might be worth it during some between-season downtime. Otherwise, maybe just watch something else. Did anyone else either give up on it or power through it and think it was worth finishing?

Radiant was sick, I agree that it's a slow starter but really it gets better with every episode, especially on season two. What sets it apart from other shows like it is the world, I can't really recall any anime taking place among floating islands except Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka Isogashii desu ka Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka and maybe some other flight/pilot related anime but I cant remember if there were floating islands involved, maybe last exile? Anyways, the world is interesting the animation is pretty slick and while the story might be a bit generic the execution is p good.

personally, i'm only a few episodes in and really I don't wanna give up on it quite yet- around what episode does it start to pick up in your opinion?

I recommend the manga, the anime deviates in a weird way that makes the story just awkward. The manga just makes more sense and you will enjoy that more than the anime. Or at least I am personally, only 124 chapters currently.

what anime you guys are talking about ? RADIANT??
I've watched 8 eps and I'm starting to drop this.... is it worth giving time or should i drop ?

  It took me about 11 eps for me to get into it which is why it's hard for me to recommend. Either hold out for a few more or just watch a better anime. I liked it after that point, but I'll never take offense to someone not wanting to sit through that many eps of mid to get to the "good stuff"
