Was disappointed to see that no one made a thread for episode 2 last week, so decided to start one for episode 3 this week
What else can I say? Uruu's episode blew me out of the water. Also, his transformation sequence was top notch content,
The animation in F-Ran is always so good. The sequences, the fight scenes, each episode having a different art style they reference and work on is so great and surreal. Something about the movement of any of the obstacles they must fight and how they move like idk, a wooden target in a shooting range? I just love this.
The ending also really got me more interested in their fairy society. All these fairy bois really got daddy issues and i can't wait to see this expanded upon. I can talk more about social and sexuality themes, but that'd also take so too long. Can't wait for next week.
But also, this:

This is surprisingly good. I expected generic fujobait, but so far it's doing everything with such unique aesthetic flair that it's elevating itself above and beyond. Not only that, the overall character development and themes tantalize at some greater narrative to come. I hope it doesn't drop the ball once it leaves character introduction phase and the serious shit starts, but I'm definitely going to be there to witness it regardless cause these first three episodes have been pretty intense and interesting.
Also holy shit that henshin scene
