Definitely my favorite ep of the series so far, glad that we got some action from the present not just the past

Yet another freaking awesome episode!
So far, this is my anime of the season.

There is something I didn't quite get in this episode. Why was Akkun trying to kill Takimichi? and how did he figure out that Takemichi can go back in time?

For the manga readers, do you know how many chapters are covered in these 4 episodes?
because they didn't announce how many episoded wil be covered in this season, I'm worried of rushing things out.

  my guess is it was a order from Kisaki to kill Takemitchy

  They covered 8 chapters in these 4 episodes, with the first 2 episodes being 1 chapter each.
  It's a perfect adaptation so far.

  I believe that it might be because he left them all this time fighting alone.
  
  I think there is yet a stage in his past that will make him leave his friends at some point which he doesn’t realize yet.

  Yah i mean first time he left because they all were slaves but in this timeline we don't know how they got separated

Well, i expected that this anime will start to be boring and wouldn’t surprise me anymore, but wow, it just can’t stop being more and more interesting isn’t it. An ep that easily deserves a 10/10 score. What an anime so far.

Mikey’s crimes are so bad that not even the police can get involved? Talk about incompetent. Then again, police in anime are non-existent / useless in anime (e.g Durarara)

Poor Takemichi having to witness Akkun’s suicide. :(((

Ken-chin was also killed in the present timeline too. Holy shit

Can someone explain something? Naoto and Takemichi said that somehow the past was changed, so in the present Akkun still stabbed the other guy? I thought that Mikey stopped it in the past

  well in the last present where Takemitchi didn't do anything Akkun stabbed the dude and went to prison and became a low life punk. in this future where Akkun didn't stab the dude, he stayed with the Tokyo Manji gang and became of the upper ranks.

  in out current present Akkun never stabbed the dude that day as seen in the last episode

I liked that we got to see how Takemichi's actions in the past affected the present.
This episode was something else, can't wait for the next one!

i had a theory about other poeple being able to time travel like takemichi but i didn't expect akkun (or any one of his friends) to know about it this early, or that he was the one who tried to kill takemichi. i just assumed naoto was the one to push takemichi to trigger the time loop when i was watching episode 1. However this reveal makes more sense obviously. Lastly the way time travel works is interesting in tokyo revengers because it actually adds so many stakes, both with the butterfly effect aspect and the fact that takemitchy can only travel back to a specific amount of time. i been hooked since episode 1 and it keeps getting better and better
