Start from my drop list of course ;)
@yuzutop most of your drop list is shit, so good job :>
10/10 on notes for the dropped anime. "shit", "stupid", "boring af" and my favourite for Boruto "I don't even know why I try this shit if i hate Naruto" LOL.
I'm surprised you dropped Tatami Galaxy, it's meant to be fantastic
Notes like this are worth more than 1000 words :P
About Naruto and Shippuden - I completed both of them, because there was a time when I had no drop policy even if watching was nightmare for me.
Yes, I just added a note that maybe one day I will back to Tatami (because I heard a lot good things about it). I guess I just started it in bad time, when I was too tired to think or something LOL XD
@Kimos32 Clannad is really boring, but important to understand and feel Clannad After Story in 100%
@RJBScarletRain dropped Gintama at 200/201 ???
@LyGhT1337 I suggest you to try Re:Zero once again. Some episodes was bad, boring, but some of them were really epic. And ofc Rem best girl :>
@RJBScraletRain Ballroom e Youkoso.. cmon.. 14 episodes left :,D It gets more exciting after each episode
@Shxrx I would say to give Higurashi no Naku Koro ni another shot.
The mystery of the whole show really picks up in the middle and has a fantastic conclusion.
that being said, if you're keen on visual novels, I would recommend that version instead.
@CaffeinatedSage I would recommend trying Citrus again. I'll assume that you don't have anything against the basic premise of two step-sisters falling in love, since you could know about that before watching the show. I found it implausible that Mei's father wouldn't stick around after marrying Yuzu's mother, but since he wasn't a main character, I let that go. Yuzu and Mei had very different personalities, and they were both portrayed very well. As Yuzu was falling in love with Mei, it seemed very realistic, and I could experience what she was feeling vicariously. It was also realistic that their relationship had ups and downs, and Yuzu had to struggle to make things work with Mei. It wasn't like the cutesy, fan-servicey Sakura Trick, in which the girls just get together right away and the biggest thing they deal with is keeping their relationship secret. Yuzu and Mei felt more like real people.
@fduniho you should reconsider trying to watch the seven deadly sins. i get it, the first 3 episodes are a bit boring but its gonna be so much better at like episode 6
and the comedy how they did it, it was a really fun show
@StrageBoss between the two entries on your dropped list I'd rather recommend SAO Alternative, just because it sucks significantly less then other SAO titles and also because I never watched Umaru-chan.
@StrabgeBoss you don't need to reconsider anything.
Since I did it wrong the first time I'll just go again.
@Padeiro Shirobako is a masterpiece that just starts out weak. I dropped it too when it was airing and regretted it big time when I got back to it years later. Also, Tatami Galaxy is absolutely worth pausing every few seconds because you can't speed-read the subs fast enough, believe me.
Dropped shirobako just because I'm lazy, but I plan to try to watch it again some day.
And about tatami galaxy it's even worse in my case since english isn't my native language and I can only find decent subs in english. Someone once told me to reduce playback speed to 0.9x or less so I can read it without struggle. Well, I can give it a try.
@NidotoNai don't know what you like in anime, but I think Hachimitsu to Clover and Monster are two good ones. If you liked 3-gatsu no lion you should definitely try Honey and Clover.
About Monster, I've seen you've watched 55 episodes. Guess you didn't liked how it was going, but I think it's really interesting to see how it ends.
Sorry, but I'm not about to give Monster another chance. I had a lot of gripes with that show far beyond it's plot. I can't possibly bring myself to care about how it ends because even the best ending in the world won't salvage the wreckage of an opinion I have on that show. I wont go into detail here but let's just say I wasted too much time on Monster already.
Honey and Clover, on the other hand, I would consider picking up again, since my reasons for dropping it were petty at best. I hated the character designs and that's basically it.
@oftenAbird Your droplist seems reasonable, but what made you drop Orange so close to finishing it? It's got its cheesy bits but if I take a look at your completed list, that doesn't seem to be the main issue here.
I had read the manga before watching the anime. I really enjoyed the way the first was developed and seeing how the anime ruined the visual narrative made me drop it, even that close to finishing it. I had the feeling that the anime adaptation was like an empty shell. It's all from my point of view, of course.
