Komisan wa Komyushou desu
So appearently, this is a really hyped show. Can anybody provide me a general idea about why it is so highly anticipated without any spoilers?
It's pretty good comedy/sol with really cute main girl. Her reactions are cute, she is cute. That's kinda it.
There's not much else going on here, but for many people it's just enough to spend some good time reading it. And now that they can see her animated they are just going bonkers over it. I mean, her reactions look even better than in manga.
So yeah, just nice fluf without much substance to it.Good non the less.
The manga is absolutely hilarious and wholesome af. People have been waiting for an adaptation since 2016 so every manga reader is pretty hyped right now. If they do a good adaptation (wich i believe will happen) it's going to be one of the best animes of the year. Just try reading a bit of the manga and you'll understand :)
The beginning of the manga was good, until the author decided to milk this series, now 300 chapters has been released and there's still no sign of real romantic developpement and the drama added to reminds the readers it's still a romance and not just a comedy feels artificial. It was a promising rom-com that just digged its own grave by extanding its content with 95% of comedy. There's also too many characters, and a lot of them are totally useless, they are just here to add quirky characters to a main cast already comprised of quirky characters.
It's not exactly a terrible manga, especially if you just want to laugh and it can be heartwarming, but it's far from deserving a mean score of 80% and there's a lot of better mangas in the genre, for example Aharen-san wa Hakarenai is exactly what Komi-san should have been in my opinion, it's really good with no unnecessary drama, just pure sweetness and very fun moments.
This is the second best slice of life romcom manga that I’ve read after Horimiya. The story is really chill and literally gives you the schooldays vibe. The characters are really funny and their comic behaviour is tuned just perfect. There’s just this one character, Yamai Ren, who I didn’t like.Anyways, it’s getting an anime adaptation. Can’t wait for it !!!!
I would suggest you to read the manga instead of the anime but if you’re not that much into manga it’s completely okay.
People have been reading the manga for years and it's been building up a sizeable fanbase that has constantly meme'd the fact it doesn't have an anime yet. Now it does have an anime lol.
I've been reading every single issue since like the 40th, and tbh I don't think I'd recommend it. There's just way too much fluff to get through. However, there's a lot of soul in it and this anime looks very faithful.
