Hi,
I recommend you Chihayafuru, which has comedy and romance and is about karuta.
Barakamon can be a good choice also, and then you can try Hachimitsu to Clover wich is wondrous, in my humble opinion.

Some comedy recommendations:

Try Hinamatsuri - anime is ongoing right now. Manga if you want to get ahead.

4 cut Hero - Webtoon. Really funny :D

Grand Blue - Anime next season, but you can't go wrong with the manga.

Kaguya Sama - This one is also getting an anime adaptation soon.

If you want to watch something short but memorable i'd recommend either One Punch Man or Konosuba if you haven't seen them both already

  I'm gonna be honest, the writing in Hunter X Hunter is so perfect I don't even think spoilers will affect your enjoyment watching the show. The show is an absolute masterpiece, especially the Chimera Ants arc

I'd recommend this one cute, comedic anime called "SGT. FROG". It is hilarious! Do yourself a favor and watch it English dubbed. (I know it is not a popular opinion but plz watch it dubbed if you're gonna).

I just came back from Japan the other week and there was this manga that was on front display nearly everywhere I went. I noticed it in a cat cafe and then binged it over two days.

Chikyuu no Owari wa Koi no Hajimari

If you like romances then I suggest giving it a try. It's a pretty light read and I liked it.

I also highly recommend Taiyou no Ie . It's made by the same person. Taiyou no Ie is the better of the two, definitely Taamo's best work to date but Chikyuu is still decent.

Kamisama Hajimemashita is another favorite of mine but it's a lot longer and the chapters are bit denser. The anime for this one might be fine if the length is a bit much, I haven't watched it yet but I will soon!

Looking at your profile it seems that you don't mind comedies so I would highly recommend the anime Seitokai Yakuindomo. It is a comedy with slight romance sprinkled in. It is adapted from a 4-koma (4 panel strip) manga. However, I should note that all of the jokes and gags in the show are adult-oriented.

If that style of comedy is not to your style you could also give Tanaka-kun is Always Listless a try. It is a very funny relaxing anime.
