  Heads was underwhelming af and No Longer Human is nowhere as good as the book

  Well, I personally liked them.
  I can't comment on the book of No longer human since I haven't read it yet (but I want to eventually), but at least as a standalone I think it was good.

  Nah i mean both are p decent. Never said they are bad. And if someone will read the book for NLH after the manga/anime. Then thats great!
  
  Its a really short book. The new directions paperbook version is 160 pages, but the text is only in the middle of the page with like 2cm borders all around it. Its really just a few hrs
