Best Berserk Arcs / Arc Ranking

Yes, don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

The arcs after are still very good, but the Golden Age Arc is peak Berserk imo. It's a 12/10 and the rest is a 10/10.

Yes definitely. FOTME arc is one of the best animanga arcs I've ever seen, it's as good as the golden age arc.

Im reading Berserk rn and im only in the golden age rn but it is fire fs but idk abt further arcs...

golden age is the best by far imo, the rest are still really good though and worth reading

To me, Golden Age Arc is the best of all arcs in Berserk till what i've read (Hawk of the Millienium Arc rn) and maybe one of the best of all arcs in anime/manga.
BUT that doesn't mean the other arcs are bad or worse. They are definitely great and each arc outranks several anime/manga themselves.

My personal favorite is the Conviction Arc, but without any doubts, the peak of quality in Berserk really is the Golden Age Arc.

Golden Age

Falcon of the Millennium Empire, by quite a bit too. I love Golden Age and Conviction but I have FOTME pretty clearly above both

Love them all, but the Lost Children chapter of the conviction arc specifically is my personal favorite. Hella underrated if you ask me.

I'm 30 chapters into the Millenium Falcon Arc at the moment and it is so good.

So far though, I'd rank the arcs:
Golden Age (10/10, possibly the best arc of anything ever)
Conviction (10/10, including Lost Children)
Black Swordsman (8.5/10)

The Millenium Falcon Arc has had some brilliant moments but the story hasn't really got going yet so I'll se when I get there. The first parts have been somewhere between 9-10/10 so far though. The Millenium Falcon Arc so far has already had many of my favourite panels in the manga.

I was just thinking about this since it's my current read. I'll say Golden Age for the moment, but I'm a couple volumes into Millennium Falcon and it definitely has the potential to surpass it. I'm excited to see what my own thoughts will be once I'm finished!

Ganishka arc

I was the most drawn into the story during the Golden Age arc, but the conviction and falcon arcs had especially strong characterization and pretty hype moments (like berserker armor)

Lost Children chapters of the Conviction arc - shows Guts at his most humane and inhumane, love it.

Lost Children Arc > Boat Arc = Fantasia Arc > rest of the story (barely remember shit) > Golden Age

Falcon of the Millennium Empire > Conviction > Fantasia >= Golden Age > Black Swordsman.

If you were to class it as its own arc, the 'Spring Flower of Days Long Passed' chapters would be the best.

1-3 are kinda close, I was the most invested in Golden Age's story but really like what Miura did with Guts's character in the following arcs
