  It's amazing. I've read it twice and the emotional turmoil it puts me through is
  SO STRESSFUL but at the same time i can't help but love it all the more for it.
  
  It is on the more mature side of things. So the first time i read it made me feel
  awful despite liking it. Hard to explain but the atmostphere scared me in a way.
  I did think it was good, but it was also too much for my little heart XD But then
  i reread it years later and not only did i continue to enjoy it as i had before, but
  i could appreciate it even more without the guilt for having read something
  that was so "mature" XD
  
  It's definitely something i know i'll read again in the future. One of
  those few manga series im willing to read over and over again. It's
  not in my favourites just cause i don't love it as much as what is on
  my favourites, but in it's own right, it belongs there as next top tier.

  Yesssss i know exactly what u mean, cause I use to think the same thing. But as I thought about it and realised that real people go through the same thing which breaks my heart, but its all the more reason that people need to hear stories like these, So people can empathise and understand them on a emotional level.

  death note was my second anime so you're correct! Little 6th grade me loved it :) and yes, Mars is great! I'd love to buy some physical copies of it one day

  ABSOLUTELY. NOT!!!!
  I'm not even into regular fanfic let alone ever going into BNHA shipping sprees.
  Besides, even if i did ship characters (in which case, i dont really have any ships
  for BNHA specifically) , Bakugou and Deku are a TERRIBLE ship
  
  I don't really relate to either of them either. I love Deku in the sense that
  i'm kind of protective of him. And Bakugou is because i love watching his
  character growth. Both are amazing in the sense that they each guide
  class 1A in their own separate ways.
  
  So wrong on both accounts.

  Watching for 10 years and I know my way enough around
  the genres to be right on what i'll like or not before starting
  a series (80% of the time anyway). So in one sense, yeah.

  Well yes, I like seeing characters struggle because I can relate to that, I like characters that feel human. I also at the same time just like badass characters in general.

@ImperatorCato judging by the amount of monogatari character faves, you like characters with some depth and/or insight on their development, background, and personality. you also have a lot of characters on your faves that vary from series-to-series so it's kinda hard to make a general assumption, but that is what i thought of.

@JabroniPie I'm gonna assume you like more intelligent charachters and that have a deep rooted idea or ideal (For Light it would be his perfect world and for Kira Yoshikage it would be his daily life) And based off the description of Yuna (I watched an episode but accidentally dropped) she seems to be very intelligent.

  To add to it you also enjoy characters who laugh a lot possibly to cover over their scars (like Okabe) or it might be better to say you enjoy characters who are emotionally damaged or numb

  maybe and those are not bad assumptions, but tbh i just like characters that either captivate me with, like you said, deep-rooted ideals and philosophies and/or intriguing background and development; or characters that entertain me with their personality, body language, and charisma. they can also be in the middle of these two spectrums.

  Huh, that's actually a good observation, I enjoy most cool and independent characters and I appreciate the respect for Hide, he honestly might be my favorite character and someone I actually want to be like, but I do think you're right even though I never noticed that myself!

@lucilulu As for waifus, you lean more towards kind characters (Chiaki Nanami, Mitsuri Kanroji, etc), and as for husbandos, you lean more towards serious and intelligent/astute characters (Armin, Death the Kid, Giyuu, etc)

In short, you like kind, serious and intelligent/astute characters (I've seen some exceptions but I've gone for the general)
