Geting notification on sequel/ovas of shows that are in our anime list

On MAL you get a notification when a new show that is related to a show you have on your list enters the database. Eg, I have seen all of the Ghost in the Shell anime and read the manga, so if I were on MAL I would have gotten a notification when the new 2045 series that was recently announced had its entry created on MAL's database. Is there a way to get a notification for this on AniList?
Already answered by a dev here : https://anilist.co/forum/thread/5986/1
And I still say : Ok since you can disable it, otherwise plz don't

the one thing preventing me from deleting my mal account is that mal lets me know when a related anime is added to the database. i personally don't have the time to go through every anime being released in the next couple months just to check if an ova or second season for a show i like has been released.
i know that anilist doesn't really group anime related to the same show, so maybe a notification when an anime that isn't on your list (or in planning) is added to the show's relations sections.
honestly, something like this would really make anilist the ultimate site for me!
This will happen at some point - There's some issues being considered regarding how to handle it with the least inconvenience.
Automation whenever an entry gets new relations could be a poor idea as it'll end up with irrelevant notification spam upon correction of wrong relations, missing relations, or wrong/missing dates - I have no idea how MAL handles it and whether this is an issue users' have there. Manual notifications could be likely.
Mal notifications never worked that well for me, sometimes they come too late or after the anime is already established. I guess they give them a window time just in case something like what you say occurs...
But I like how MALGraph recommended the missing relationships, something like this:

Would be good if a something like this existed for Anilist too, so within a fraction of a second you can add to your list or just cancel the new ones...
They could be user generated-so when something new is added then someone can do some kind of "send notification" where then multiple other users check and approve the request before it sends the notification.
That approval stage will help avoid spam and abuse of the feature as well as ensure accuracy.
My personal suggestion for preventing spam would be first: give users the option to turn on notifications for that series. If it's a big series then mods would probably verify that the news/announcement is legit before allowing notifications to be sent. If it's a smaller series, then I guess you just have to turn on notifications at your own risk. After all, it's still better than never knowing.
