  I'm not telling AniList to add it, I'm just informing people that they can expect an adaption. While yes, this is not from an official source, it's like saying "What if the leaks are wrong?" even though the leaker has been right again and again, several times in the past. I don't look at what-ifs, I look at probability. And the probabilty of an anime adaption is very high. Although I agree that the title is misleading.

  Suddenly I had the perfect idea of who should voice Anya. Maria Naganawa seems like a perfect fit for the role. She voiced Platelet from Hataraku Saibou and also Kanna from Dragon Maid. I imagine her voice as Anya's voice when I'm reading the manga.

I was thinking about reading the manga soon for this series but I guess I'll wait for the anime, this is very exciting news!

Of course if it's a shitty adaptation like Record of Ragnarok for example then I'll move onto the manga instead

  That's the best course of action. If the anime screws up (which it hopefully won't) then you should jump right into the manga because I can confidently tell you that the manga is absolutely amazing. It has great art and great pacing, you'll probably enjoy it.

  Yeah I've heard some great things about Spy x Family, really hoping a good studio does it justice and gets me, and lots of other new fans into it

  Anime adaptation for Spy x family has been announced. It's a collaboration between WIT studio and CloverWorks coming in 2022. What do you guys think about this?
  
  WIT is in serious debt rn. So it makes sense that they go to adapting such a popular title especially since production IG is directly in charge of their decisions now. So now they have 7 projects in production and bought in cloverworks for a collab. 2022 is going to go down as the GOATED year for anime.

  Kinda same actually. I love this manga. And I have my problems with csm. So hope mappa really pulls it off with the adaptation.

  I honestly have zero doubts with MAPPA handling CSM, because the director said he wouldnt put up with MAPPA's work conditions so I think we can expect some Jujutsu Kaisen quality. It's just that shounen are a dime a dozen and I personally think Spy X Family is unique. (not to say csm isnt but yknow)

  If it makes you feel any better, it's a joint production with Wit. Wit has a lot of competent people. The staff are also really talented. I'm not sure where does CW chime in and how much influence they have over the series. But my guess is that they can't completely fuck it up.
