  Even if it isn't pedophilia in your country the age gap is still creepy. On top of this a relationship between a teacher and a student is super creepy, the power dynamic between them also makes it immoral. The fact that the author never frames the teacher in a bad light and never attempts to demonstrate that they are a bad person for their actions should be acknowledged and criticized.

  I mean the teacher-studen relationship is kinda creepy, but don't forget that she isn't an "adult" she's still in the start of the adult stade, 6 year gaps after 16+ isn't that creepy,

  For me, the animation is beautiful, the story itself was beautiful, it's empathetic, sentimental, it has good pacing, the backstories are great too.
  It's a phenomenal dramatic anime that I would recommend anyone watching.
  though, you found the anime trash but the rating of Violet Evergarden says about it. :)
