What did you think of the episode?
I'm not sure if this anime is everyone's cup of tea but despite that, the anime is mediocre at best or better described as trying to break the ceiling of medicore and getting onto the next best tier.
It gets really interesting mostly at the end bits, the beginning and ONLY some parts in middle, the only word should be emphasized a little bit more from my side since I am mostly a late night watcher as timezones are different from the time they air it gets really boring to the point I stop midway and fall asleep or either force myself to watch it entirely just to know that I'm not missing out on anything else this isn't the case for some of the anime streaming this season except a few exceptions here and there.
but so far it's taking a neutral type of impression from me. Definitely not the best nor the worst. A-LOT can be done in order to gain traction as a seasonal anime for everyone but sadly we are half way through completion so it might turn out to be mediocre or something worth all the time spent watching this anime.
Don't get me wrong I still have high hopes for it to take traction and turn it's phase but knowing we are already at the 7th episode and yet things are not improving sounds concerning enough for me to bring up this topic. If your however wondering to give the LN or just too hooked up with this genre a read definitely worth all the time and effort spent into reading it.
We got some hidden references here: Siesta's staring at the poster that says 'sapphire phantasm' and that looks a lot like Yui?
Also the epic fanservice and siesta with the syringe: 'there's no way i'll let you remember that' XD
And yeah the series is pretty good but apart from perhaps dropping foreshadowing/clues it's kinda off-track cause aren't we supposed to have siesta come back to life through nagisa or what? also please explain Siesta's death, duh
Just finished the ep, and I have one big question
WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN THEM IN THE BED???!!??!?!?!??!?! Is what I think it is LOOOL
but otherwise great ep and seeing more of Siesta is a blessing
discord copypaste. contains notable source spoilers
(there are spoilers)
alicia is best girl... I'm probably way too biased toward kids, but I can't help it. Feels better than most bratty kids, even. but huh, she didn't even realize that she totally looks like a kid until now?
wow, kimizuka's prepared with binoculars and everything! not that that's anywhere near enough to be a legendary detective, ofc
are kids even allowed to order alcohol? i assume alicia wasn't drinking any for the toasts earlier... (also i'm pretty sure the ln spent a little more time on that)
not enough attention is given to that line about trusting the other more than themself... or maybe it's just that i paused reading for a bit there to let it sink in
attending a real school, since she hasn't, right that makes sense
wait, this is siesta setting death flags to prepare for her incoming death that she's certainly planned by this point, since it's close to the day. though i identified that it happened when reading the source too.
amnesia potion lmao. and also the tie-in of the toilet hanako chapter... but they really should've just put the darn boat chapter in instead of that one
i guess alicia can outwit an injured detective's planning, good job alicia. this makes me want to reread the next flashback chapter, but that's probably gonna be in a few episodes.
