Did you have an anime like this ??
Eromanga Sensei
This is like the show everyone compares Oreimo to.
Isn’t it a harem, you have plenty to choose from.
https://anilist.co/search/anime?genres=Female%20Harem&genres=Incest
I can't believe people are only suggesting incest anime. The incest just isn't the main point of oreimo, so it needs other similarities to tie it together.
...pretty sure just about any degenerate harem will do. Here's one that's not on your list yet:
Hensuki Are you willing to fall in love with a pervert as long as shes a cutie
(I also do second the above rec of imosae.)
The thread "I need something similar to Oreimo." and its comments have been merged into this thread.

Now don't get me wrong here, while I really enjoyed Oreimo, it wasn't the "I wanna bang my little sister" part of it that got me. It's difficult to put into words (atleast for me) but those of you who have also been watching Anime for a rather long time (i.e atleast more than 6 years) will exactly know what im trying to say.
You see, I kinda took a "break" from watching Anime, or better said, I mostly watched what was Airing for about half a year or so. And only a week or so ago I picked up Oreimo, and boy, it send me down a trip. I just came to realize how much I love this, late 2000's/early 2010's Japan aesthetic. I honestly got Nostalgic feels about a time and place I didnt grow up in, (well I grew up in the early 2000's but you hopefully get what im trying to say).
And now that I tried looking for Anime similar to it, that preferably had some Romance in them, It hit me rather hard, I have watched a shit ton of them, and it honestly is rather difficult to find Anime like that.
I hope you lot can help me.
Those anime in the late 2000 / early 2010 were genre defining and had some original ideas. Shows released recently lack this because they just follow a 'success formula'.
Best case for this is 86, which is just a mixture of Code Geass Akito the Exiled, Attack on Titan and Beatless. Most scene and plotpoint is just there to have an emotional impact on the reader/viewer and is not organic.
Yes, that's exactly how I feel about these kind of shows. Thank you for sharing your empathy regarding that!
Even if most of todays anime follow a so called "success formula" , thankfully we are blessed by some bold authors that create fascinating, out of order stories for us to enjoy!
Yes, it is sad knowing that there won't be many to none Anime comparable to that era. But we still need to enjoy what he have, and cherish what good we are left with/given.
I feel like most people who have watched a lot, even if not for a long time, would know what you're trying to say. Oreimo (especially s1) is something I can't really compare anything to because it's just so different from anything else I've seen.
Well, I'll take a look at those recs that someone else posted, at least. Seeing people not actually read before posting a show about imoutos makes me really wish there was a downvote button on AL.
I know what you mean but that's sadly how some people are, which is not a bad thing, they probably thought they helped me though so no reason being mad in that aspect.
Anyway, thank's to you aswell, for understanding and sharing your compassion. It also makes me happy, knowing that I "helped" others aswell, simply by creating this thread. Let's just hope we'll find more anime that suit our tastes and preferences!
I don't know if I understood what you want, but maybe?:
Genshiken
SasamisanGanbaranai
AChannel
Minamike
Kannagi
Acchi Kocchi
Unfortunately none of them has romance in it...
Or maybe even somethig like this, these have romance at least.
NHK ni Youkoso
Kuragehime
Paradise Kiss
Koi Kaze
Nazo no Kanojo X
Arakawa Under the Bridge
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (this one doesnt have)
Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko
Now maybe stretching a bit, and some yuri:
Aoi Hana
Sasameki Koto
Mariasama ga Miteru
Some with a more "modern" style and/or setting, also with romance:
Chihayafuru
Inari Konkon Koi Iroha
Aku no Hana
Mikakunin de Shinkoukei
Natsume Yuujinchou (not romance)
Fruits Basket 1st Season
Maybe what you are looking for is denpa, otaku culture... idk.
I hope it helps.
Series with a very talkative male lead with OST done by Satoru Kosaki, also from the golden age of Light Novel adaptation:
Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu
Bakemonogatari
Nisemonogatari
Kind of similar animation style:
Demichan wa Kataritai
