  Hi everyone, I've been updating my anime list, and I noticed that I can't update that I completed ReZero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu Hyouketsu no Kizuna Manner Movie
  I just go to the anime page, update the status and the start and end dates, then I click on save but it says " Media is locked".
  
  Is this a bug?
  Can someone please explain what's happening?

The button is missing for me as well. I seems it is locked. Not sure what the intentions are.

The media is locked means a mod locked the entry so no user can add them to their list.

We're currently discussing if Manner Movies are eligible to be in the database, that's why it's locked

  I see. Thanks for claryfying that. I'ts just a bit awkward to have an entry in a sort of "limbo" without being able to update it

  People like me are getting extremely frustrated with the fact that they can't add this to their lists because AniList mods are sitting on their asses doing nothing important instead of coming to a consensus on this.

  The literal thousands of submissions we get every month should be an indication that we are in fact not just sitting on our asses doing nothing. Not like knowing that fact will change anything for you, you came in with a conclusion so continue to believe whatever you want to believe.

  Honestly why I use Mal alot more then anilist sometimes, Just anilist has the cleaner interface

Still waiting... Both manner movies can't be removed from list and can't be completed.

I understand that the mods have other issues to take care of, but this is not fair; 5 months and still no clear decision. In the meantime we are stuck with a " ghost entry" in our lists.

All entries in the anime, manga and novel databases should be equally important when making decisions.

I don't see why not to include the Manner Movies in the Anilist database for good, considering that they were not only screened theatrically (at least from what Petelgeuse says), but also included as bonus material on Blu-rays. I mean, they're not something random

Enough! Delete all manner movies or allow to complete them! The waiting is unbearable! (╯°益°)╯彡┻━┻
Notice me, senpai! Manner movies are as important as music clips. You should count or remove all of them from Anilist once and for all!

Is there any mod that can comment on the status of this entry? It's been 10 months, you're looking at it right, 10 MONTHS! Almost a whole year! and still no decision has been made.

I've been understanding about it because I imagine the huge workload you guys must have on the anime data side, but I think enough time has passed to decide once and for all what's going to happen with this entry.

  Absolutely! nothing justifies taking that much time for a decision. I mean, if there is a team of mods checking all entries data, whether be old or new, there should also be a team for checking cases like this.
  And if its an amount of mods available issue, they should be opening oportunities for more to enter. I bet there are plenty of capable people out there.

tbh im in vote to keep every entry, even ones that seem like duplicates like the re zero directors cut. even if there are minor changes. its still was released as its own thing so...

Although I feel the same as @boylettuce, I appreciate that a decision was finally made and I respect the reasons. Thanks to those who were keeping an eye on this thread, especially @Taluun for taking the time to report back regarding this issue.
