What do you think about the episode?
Yeah, I think it's pretty good so far. I enjoyed the episode, and I love the opening and ending. I'm worried that it'll become too repetitive as it goes on, but hey, right now it looks promising.
OP sounds pretty Gabriel Dropout-like. Even though its not Doga Kobo who made this anime, weird. But still sounds good. Now that I think about it, this anime with its angel and devil concept, is pretty similiar to Gabriel. The comedy are hit and miss at times. "Holy shit!" She didn't monologue it LOL, that part was pretty funny. I like how they broke the fourth wall multiple times here.
That was enjoyable to watch. Going to watch this 'til the end.
Curious if anyone is watching this without having read the manga. All of the characters are seen in the first scene without any explanation. I would have found that confusing if I had started it blind. In the manga, each character gets their own chapter and is properly introduced.
Can you explain it so ? Because I didn't read the manga at all, I just started with the anime.
Both Medusa and Minosu are brought to earth by Jashin in different plots to kill Yurine (which ofc fail) Pekora is an angel sent to kill Jashin and Yurine (iirc) but on her way to earth, loses her halo, thus leaving her stranded. It’s a running joke that she’s homeless and always hungry
A lot of what you wrote above can be guessed imo.
I thought "ah right! I thought so" when I read your spoiler.
Would've been so cool to have those back stories in the anime.
But I'm guessing the first episode is to sell the show and they'll go back and explain the back-stories now that they have you interested :)
jokes are unfunny and the bullying doesn't make me laugh either. it's also too repetitive. bad character implementation, girls aren't cute and their archetypes feel forced. we are presented with these girls with no idea of where they come from, who they are, nothing. 4 out of 10. if this doesn't get better by episode 2 I'll drop it.
