i want to watch some shows that will make it into my top 10 so give me the best shows you got and i'll add them to my planning list

For Beserk, I'll watch it after I read it because I hear that's the way to go, I've also really been considering starting Gintama so I'll see how I like it, and personally I've seen about 70 epsiodes of hunter x hunter and hated it, the rest I'll add to my list
Gintama is really hard to get into so good luck with that.
The first two episodes are filler and the first 20-50 episodes are pretty boring and uninteresting, at least that's the case for most people.Personally I almost never drop shows, so I'll get past it all, I hear it's amazing from so many people so it's gotta at least be good
For sure, it is incredibly rewarding, in fact, it's my undisputed number 1 anime.

If anyone finds the first 20-50 episodes of GIntama boring then gintama is not for them.
Welp, I should have never watched Gintama after all.
No but for real, I found it interesting enough that I kept going, for example the dialogue when Gintoki was around was great and made me wonder why he is the way he is, and some of the comedy was good, just not as consistent as later seasons, but overall those episodes for me are like a 7 max.

Oh if I were you and I found the episodes to be like a 7/10 I wouldn't really have watched such a big anime, but anyway it doesn't matter, you liked it in the end is good enough.
I personally loved s1 a lot from the 1st episode, the comedy was totally my type.

Yeah there is. You only need to actually watch higurashi, Kai and Rei (Though I skipped Rei also) before moving onto Gou and Sotsu. All of the others are spin offs or character arcs.

Monster is your favourite so you’ll like thriller anime and in my opinion Kaiji is the best of the best in that genre. I had Steins Gate as my number 1 for 6 years until I watched it, absolute rollercoaster of emotions every episode.
