It was the farthest thing from flawless, but I really liked how the MCs grew, not only as a couple, but also as individuals. Having dreams, a friend circle and a life beyond each other, all the while having each other's backs. Also, natural age progression was a nice touch.
Was a complete mess at times, especially the ending, but I felt like I could forgive that because the rest of it was a damn good ride.
I unironically enjoyed it up until 216, everything after that is awful. But I still forgive it because no other manga has had me as addicted as it has.
the thing about dg is that every single love interest for rui or hina is better than natso, and every single one for natsu is better than rui and hina.
and when he is with hina i wanted him to be with rui, whne he's with rui i want him to be with hina.
my fav arc is when he meets that depressed girl and they are depressed and stuff, idk if i like it ironically or unironically ngl
imma be honest had the ending not been a total trainwreck i would have given it a rating higher than i did, even then i give it a 60 cuz the stuff before that (which the ending just ruined) was genuinely good or even great at times, id still recommend it for a read but say expect the absolute lowest from the ending, ironically i feel like the parts that had nothing to do with romance were the strongest points of this manga i dont see much people talking about this one but i genuinely loved the togen sensei arc, and most of the stuff related to natsuo's writer's dilemma in general, but maybe that just me
personally I enjoyed it too, I am not that nitpicky though but I still dont think the ending was bad and enjoyed every chapter
I need to ask you... How did you manage to enjoy the ending? Specifically after Hina's accident?
I'm not trying to a dick, I'm honestly trying to get a different perspective, because for me those last 5 chapters absolutely and utterly ruined the entire manga for me. So much of that made absolutely 0 sense to me
I sure liked it.... Scratch that, I REALLY liked it... All the way up until the last 5 chapters. What the actual fuck was that?
How do you even write that, look back and think "Yhea, that's good". How do you completely throw away 200 chapters of character development in a single chapter and think that's not a monumental fuckup? I cannot even put into words how much that ending sucks. Well, I could, but I'd be here for way too long...
I really appreciated this manga like few others, but the fact that it didn't choose Rui in the end really left me feeling shitty. I'm aware that the ending is balanced, but damn, by now we had all grown fond of Rui, I don't think anyone would have cared if he hadn't chosen Hina. However, I appreciated it, the ending is right, a little bittersweet, but it shows all the characters happy so it's a lot. Excellent manga
Tbh I was always team Hina from the start, Rui×Natsuo felt...forced? Either way, I would've loved if natsuo and rui just married OR they didn't have a baby and natsuo marries hina without all that vegetative state bullshit. BUT having a kid with rui and then marrying hina? The fu-
I still can't hate domestic gf though haha. Remove the last 10 or so chapters and you get a spicy love triangle manga
