What did you think of the episode?
This episode made me want to drop it. I will give it 1 more episode, but the red flags are showing. They are probably going to sexualize Tarte a lot as the show progresses, and I am not about to watch that
honestly it just sounds you're new to anime if this type of thing is a "deal breaker" for you.
Idk why people go "Fan service bad" and yet they always just watch shows with fan services in it. Like, what did you expect? It's an isekai harem...its obvious what's gonna happen
its like a self fulfilling prophecy, just avoid it if you don't like it instead of being triggered over nothing.
I loved this episode!
Lugh yet again made another girl fall for him, and oh boy, did he make sure to feed her right~
Also, Lugh is lucky to touch Tarte's naked body! She has both a nice ass and boobs~
calm tf down mate, you're 25
It does not matter if I'm 25. Just enjoy life~

that's just weird wtf
yeah bro im going through his profile and getting some really gross vibes
Yeah um, eromanga sensei as one of his favorites and the description of his profile just really grosses me out. This is the reason some people hate people who like anime.
Really great episode even better than the previous one.
I don’t get why the artists feel the need to give a 12 year old girl a large chest :/ imagine how desperate they must be to have to include that to get people to watch the show….
Fanservice is one of the easiest ways to get people interested. But I don't think. And after watching anime for quite some time now, I have stopped relating physique and age. I also heard that the anime skips some questionable ecchi stuff. So this is a good adaptation after all. I won't say that fanservice is the catching part for this anime because even though first episode had it, I liked it because how skilled the main character is.
I also read on a reddit thread that growing a large chest suddenly over a span of two years is possible at that age.
I get why Tarte's nudity was in there (given that we saw the MC at an even younger age go through the same ritual with his father, and fanservice obviously), but it still doesn't sit well with me. That said though, it was nice to see Lugh take on the role of instructor given that's what he would have likely done in his past life. Like a good mentor, he recognized Tarte's inherent skills and was able to alter his approach to accommodate them. Plus, spears are cool.
Tarte's backstory is tragic, but what mattered more were the ways in which Lugh used his training to manipulate a vulnerable person to become his ally. Even in moments like that, there is a strong dose of cold, calculated bitterness to what he does. It is not heartwarming from HIS angle, while from HER angle it is like the Goddess answered her prayers. The result is that she idolizes him and waits on him hand and foot, which will more than likely turn into a romantic / sexual attraction alongside Dia and any other harem women who happen to come into the show.
Is this power fantasy fulfillment? Yes, but the underlying tinges of ulterior motive at least vary it up enough to keep things somewhat engaging. The material's main tone relies on that kind of bizarre coldness. So long as it doesn't over-indulge that, I think it will be a decent series moving forward.
I'm still not sold on this being a "good series" or anything like that, but it is not repelling me like Redo of Healer did. Whether that holds up or not remains to be seen, but for now, we press onward.
The brainwashing thing wasn't great. I get the stakes involved and that this guy was betrayed in his past life. But it's showing a pretty sad side to only have people close by that he's brainwashed into following him.
Not a bad episode overall. But definitely not as good as the previous one. This show continues to hover between "ok this could be good" to "I don't know about this one."
Some good stuff in there for sure though.
Lugh's encounter with Tarte is one of the most organic set ups I've seen in an anime. And then the rewind they did to reveal his thought process was very cool. The whole encounter was my favorite part of the show.
Really enjoying the series, but I hope they don't get too distracting with the fan service. I'm not against it, but it can really ruin a show when it gets thrown in with no regard for the tone or plot in the moment.
Good episode. I like this series but not that much. Lugh finding a new person name Tarte to recruit and use for his own benefits and gains not sure if even cares about her or not. Most of the episode basically showing Lugh training Tarte to be his personal servant as to be of a use too him in the future.
Tarte stripping in front of Lugh for his training program same as his father kinda disturb me but I just skip it and it was for training purpose not for fanservice so its fine.
I do like the series but they are other ongoing series I like way more than this.
Goddess has reincarnated a person before to kill the hero fourty years ago before the mc/lugh got reincarnated
My favourite character so far
Unnecessary fan service that doesn't fit in any way. Also, literally pedophilia in my opinion. As for story nothing sorta excites me. No hate but mushoku tensei fan service is justifiable a little. I don't hate the series, its just that I am not enjoying it in particular. Still I would wait to the end to see if something exciting happens.
