A Brazilian youtuber is talking very badly about Tate no Yuusha Anime and WebNovel and I'm just laughing because I don't agree with anything he said...
He basically said that a false accusation of rape shouldn't be something covered in a work and that the anime encourages slavery...
What do you think about this?

What do you think about this?
That he is a moron. I frankly don't believe there is anything that "shouldn't be covered in a work" and I can easily think of dozens of worse things than false rape accusation.
Also if he thinks it encourages slavery then he probably thinks that AoT supports holocaust. Lost case.
You should probably link said video if you want people to discuss it that way people don't have to rely on your paraphrasing of what they said.
Also thats a pretty commonly held belief about IncelHero
"incel hero" yikes...
yeah sounds like you agree with that clown twitter take. Is anime not allowed to cover false sexual assault? But, real sexual assault is totally fine right? That sounds pretty backwards to me mate.
Literally the 1 anime that comes to mind in my head about false sexual assault accusations and you call Naofumi an incel with no basis when HE'S the victim. It's super cringe and weird.
Tal didn't call naofumi an incel. Most folks who call the show "Incel Hero" aren't referring to the MC at all in that regard - for the most part we view the framing of the story is an incel fantasy, not necessarily any particular character.
It is the same with Harry potter world and fiction made for young people strugging and similar, in this case for young male japanese.
Uh no? Not that those don't have their own problems but glorifying slavery, playing up false rape accusations, and painting all female characters with the exact brush that Incel view women as is a bit fhrther that the usual male gaze fiction.
Just finished the anime, and I really don't know how people come to this.
glorifying slavery
[redacted]
playing up false rape accusations
What's the problem with that? Controversial topics can't be in a show now? Or false rape accusations don't exist?
and painting all female characters with the exact brush
You can't possibly have watched the show, lol. Name 1 (ONE) woman who's not depicted as normal/respectable other than the one who tried to end his life.

I do, and do not. Idk how this guy is a community mod... You shouldn't ever share the person in question to random forums/social media, that would just make unnecessary hate. Anyways he can have whatever opinion he has, but some opinions are just stupid. (regarding being a crime watching the anime, I think we've got more to worry about than an anime using slavery so it can go against slavery, but that's just my opinion)
just ignore people like him. there's many people in the anime circle / community that just make bait videos to get people mad. Not worth the effort
he has pretty solid arguments, and honestly, i agree with everything he said
I don't speak Portuguese, but there's no way he has any good arguments to those points. He's obviously seeking attention.
Like what the top commenter was saying, just because Shield Hero has a heavy emphasis on the usage of slavery doesn't mean it supports slavery. That would mean Attack on Titan supports genocide. You see how stupid that sounds?
Another thing, I don't understand this weird touchy behavior so many people have over false sexual assault allegations. Why is this topic "too far for work" when you see real sexual assault plastered all over and everyone is suddenly fine with it? It's such backwards and shitty thinking. And now you've got all of these freaks practically victim blaming Naofumi, calling him an "incel" when there's literally an even worse character that ruined his entire life getting no flack whatsoever.
Naofumi is an incel that's a fact, It wouldn't necessarily mean he's evil (although in most cases it should lol). Problem is, the anime is an incel fantasy, It shows our incel hero as the betrayed victimized good guy, while the wicked evil woman, who claims a false accusation of rape for apparently no reason at all aside from her being evil, is shown alongside the "bad guys" who say it's kinda fucked up that the MC buys a slave CHILD (but that's ok, she likes being a slave right?) as the villains of the story. So one of the only not evil women in the show is the slave little girl who's submissive towards the incel hero and likes being his slave. Makes sense that this child is the most popular waifu (this is so fucking gross) between the fans of this anime. Even If you don't agree that the MC himself is an incel, you must see that any actual incel would feel very satisfied watching a show like this. Common dude, if you really don't think that there's anything disgusting about this shit, I'm sorry but maybe you're the incel yourself
Think people overreact. Same ones who said Goblin Slayer is too much. Same ones who think anime girls with big boobs is objectifying women. Same people who think the lack of overweight women in anime is unreal and disgusting. Same people who take offence to 'no trans representation' characters in anime.
This community has changed since the 00s... Mostly the Gen Z kids though.
But yes the need for slavery is a bit much. But remember what kind of fanbase anime like this cater to. Socially awkward social recluses who have limited interaction with women anyways. So they wont see a problem with the recurring theme of 'shes my slave now' in Isekai and fantasy anime. Lots of kind of like it imo. For a bunch of people who dont have real love IRL, it can be appealing.
Same with the yandere fans. Only people who havent been in real relationships would think it's 'cute'. But again, Gen Z. 17-20 yo in the late 00s/ early 10s knew this stuff.
But we watch anime to vibe and have a good time. Who cares.
If you enjoy it, fuck what I, twitter or some dood on youtube says. The real world is plenty enough to bitch about. Keep anime clean of the drama I always say.
Yeah the video is filfth. He’s one of the most well known anitubers and now he just made a whole video saying the tate no yuusha should be a crime and that delicate themes like slavery and rape should not be presented in anime. I couldn’t disagree more with everything he says and I love to see these themes being portrayed, especially in a realistic way. I’ve also never been a fan of his channel too, he always gives his opinions like if they were facts which always annoyed me. Sorry for the bad English I’m brazillian.
He basically said that a false accusation of rape shouldn't be something covered in a work and that the anime encourages slavery...
I guess we can close our eyes and ignore the fact that this still happens to dozens (if not hundreds) of millions of people.
For example, every other month there's some scandal about UN peacekeeper troops raping the locals.
In other words, treat this person as you would any other crazy person (e.g. anti-vaxxers). Anything they say is bs.
Some people like to complain or make wild opinions just to scrape some views.
Also if you like this anime, don’t let people being miserable on the internet make u feel bad for it. I just wouldn’t listen to those ppl, especially people on this site. My frontal lobe actually hurt from reading these some of these comments, especially that community mod.
I think I just lost my last faith in humanity by reading this thread here. I can´t believe how people nowadays take everything too serious and complain about it on twitter or somewhere else. I like this anime and I think it´s one of the better if not one of the best isekai out there... Thanks for your comment I really needed that right now.
