you could see that he started to realize teamwork is actually better than being an ego and it opened so much possible character development for him. i thought that's pretty cool
Really? I actually really liked that part...it was kind of random, but that part's where the series kind of started to stand out from other sports/amnesia-related anime where the main character is always "yay! teamwork!" and has no character development whatsoever. There were some issues with it but still I don't think it would ruin the whole show
