  In Vol 8 they say that Miyuki got done in a labor to make her perfect. That is when she got a different DNA, which means that their children would be also perfect. Not deffect like in most incest relations.

  I guess someone hasn't read the LN's. I mean, of course it isn't a perfect adaptation but they did pretty well and the original source itself is one of the greatest invented stories out there. It has more plot, hard work by the author and informations (details) in there than 99% out there. Not kidding tho.

  So then I'm guessing the LN is worth following? does it have a lot that's not in the anime adaptation? or just the missing details.

  World Building is extremely detailed in the novels. They go very in depth into how the magic actually works. In terms of cut content the first season wasn't that bad, but it did leave out some stuff, mainly inner thought and some dialogue. Second season is where most of the cut content is at though. They also skipped the entire Volume 5 which for the most part can be skipped except for the last chapter in it, they go into some detail about the student council election and how A-chan became president. In season 2 they just randomly start calling her president with no info as to how they got to that point.

  An important aspect is that in the anime Tatsuya as mc seems just cold and maybe lame? But in the LN you get to see his very deep thoughts on everything. That way it gets shown what a cool character he is literaly.

  It is a magic device shaped like a gun, but yes this the anime with an overpowered main character from before OP mains were all the rage. It is from before Food Wars as well, so he isn't good at cooking either. (I can't be the only one thinking that suddenly there are a lot of isekai mains which suddenly now also are great at cooking for absolutely no reason?)
